From reviews looks like people who can't eat gluten appreciate it but honestly the food is terrible - worst Italian meal I've had in years. All dishes seem to be overloaded with chilli, lemon, salt to the extent of ruining the flavours you're hoping for. Wine and service are OK though.

What a little treasure we found in the Cotto restuarant. My grandson was diagnoised celiac when he was seven years old and has not dined out for two years until now. We were greeted by the owner who was warm and friendly and made a big fuss of my grandson as he is celiac too. The food was delicious and the portions huge. There is a great choice for celiacs but also a great choice for non celiacs and the desserts are to die for. A delightful, warm and friendly restuarant with great food reasonably priced. Could you ask for anything more?

Warm and welcoming. You instantly feel at home at Cotto. Attentive and friendly run family restaurant. The food is freshly made, served hot and delicious with good portions. Be careful becuase the choice is so good it could takes a long time to decide what you want to eat. Avoid the desserts because once you try them you will want to go through the whole list.
My wife enjoyed it so much the first time she ate there that she insisted on going back the following night and had another slice of tiramisu.
The atmosphere is relaxed and your are not rushed to leave, the music is not intrusive and the food is excellent value for your money, even if you eat all 3 courses.

This place brings a bit of Italy to London. It is entirely family owned and operated. I myself cannot eat gluten. For me to eat freshly prepared Italy food without gluten, have it be consistently good, and with the friendliest service is town, is remarkable. Wine list is small but good. Espresso is the real deal. I go every month.

the service is good, apart from being told off by the lady manager upon arrival- she had actually got the time wrong for our booking and clearly doesnt subscribe to 'the customer is always right'
the service was very good, friendly and attentive; however the food was very disappointing, we opted for the gluten free choices, and its great that they offer this (i could eat out without feeling like a freak) but it wasn't great.
the wine was nice though.
all in all, I would avoid the place, such a shame.
