This small family restaurant is absolutely fantastic.

The sort of service which is very hard to find nowadays so a breath of fresh air. The two brothers that run the place are superb hosts and the food is absolutely brilliant quality and value for money.

Definately recommend anyone to go and check it out and you wont be disappointed.

I am a regularly customer at Oregano Love the atmosphere, love the lay out and food is beautiful.

Each visit just gets better and better. I am going there tonight can’t wait to have some yummy food.

This is essentially an adequate local restaurant. It really isn't anything to shout about, but the affable manager makes the place worth visiting. He really had a smile for everyone, which was nice.

We had prawn/avocado, fried calamari and whitebait to start. Prawn/avocado was ok, fried calamari quite abysmal - calamari not the freshest, limp batter, whitebait very fishy. For mains we had pizzas and seafood linguine. The 'kico' pizza feature pepperoni and brocolli - ill conceived and very heavy touch with the fresh chilli! The linguine's sauce needed a lot more seasoning - tasted like weak ragu out of a bottle, the pasta was overcooked, mussels were of the ready-cooked frozen variety.

Desserts were funny, they had run out of creme brulee and tiramisu but failed to inform us of this until we had ordered both. Incidentally, they seemed to be the only two desserts worth ordering.

But, it was reasonably priced, around £60 for starters & mains for 3 people, coffees and nice bottle of Pinot Grigio. Good, friendly service. So, if you live a short walk away, this restaurant is fine, but otherwise it may be better to seek out better alternatives in Southgate/Winchmore Hill etc.

this restaurant is really good the food is much better than the luxury restaurants the prices are affordable i had my dinner there but at the same time i was entertaining my self with the mediterrenian music ...........

oregano is a really good choice when you would like to have a dinner and entertain yourself with a belly dance or mediterranian music. If you are planning to do any birtday parties or any anniversary my advice would be Oregano because their food is really nice and affordable.

This is my local restaurant and is absolutely fantastic! The food is always good, excellent value for money, delicious and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The take awat service is also superb and a welcome change from chinese or indian food. Check out the cheap lunchtime specials throughout the week -wow! Great decor too - the hanging lights are beautiful. Highly recommended.
