Overpriced, poor service, too commerciall. The location means they can charge a fortune for crap food. Not impressed.
You're looking at £25 a head for a main and 3 beers before starter, desert and coffee.
Don't bother.

Avoid this 'restaurant' at all costs as it is overpriced, the food is average & the service is poor. It was a good thing that it was a friends choice & he was paying - never again!

i would like to say and that the thig is when i first whent to london 1n 1995. i will say the thing is i will say that the thing is when i whent in to one of the steak houses in oxford street which is not there any more .i fellt that the meal was over priced this was with out an beer .
the other thing i will say is what i found most inprsonail is the level of coustomer
service you got this was poor and i will say the thing was they took the order and i had to wait 1 hour for the food in the restrunt i will say the thing was .when to food came it was not right and under cooked.
the other thing that i had found in this restrunt was the way the cooks where smokeing in the kichen in the outlet in oxford street
i will add that the thing i will say i have read some of the articails on the web site
and the thing i will say i am in agreement with a number of the other coustomers on this one becuse i worked in this fieled my self and i will add if i gave a level
of my coustomer i would not stay there long i will be honest.
This was one of the worst places i had eaten in the london area and i will say that
i would get 3 meals in cumbria for the price i payed for the one .
and i would never give the staff a tip with the level of service

Hysterically funny experience, NOT! There is no difference between here & a Soho clipjoint, both will rip you off, both have no quality of service & both leave you with an unpleasant taste in your mouth.
Starters - Incredible! I assume the same menu used in a 1972 episode of "On The Buses".
Main Course - Is this the only restaurant (I use that word loosely), that charges for every little item, £2 for a spoonful of frozen peas? £18.50 for a pre-packed steak?
Dessert - Jelly & Cream! Need I say anymore?
10% service charge, by the way, this is OPTIONAL (by law!).
Decor/Ambience - Think film set from "Love Thy Neighbour".
Service - Clearly an abuse of the word "Service"...
Value - See above.
All in all if you hate someone, book a table here.

Utter crap - avoid at all costs!! I've eaten better steak in a motorway service station.
I have no idea why anyone would want to set-foot inside one of these awful identikit restaurants. They always seem to be full of tourists - no wonder in this country we have such a poor reputation for food.

This is funny as I feel as though I am really swimming against the tide here, but my girlfriend and I, having just finished at the theatre, visited this restaurant.
I was expecting the worst. I love Ribeye with a passion, sourcing the best steaks from accredited butchers in london. I have also have the pleasure of enjoying steaks on the other side on the Atlantic, where they (can) do it so well.
Needless to say I was extremely surprised by the quality of the steak. Beautifully cooked, medium rare exactly right, the mash was good and the broccoli steamed just right. My girlfriend enjoyed her meal too.
The service was good too - these things are usually a gamble anyway. Our waiter was good, though the couple next to us did have to wait quite a while for their order to arrive.
Simple meal, fairly dear - but look at the location who are we kidding?! The atmosphere is non-existant - look at the location and clientele for crying out loud!
Too easy to take the mickey out of this place as we londoners are all food critics dontchaknow....

Awful Awful Awful
Overpriced, i paid £7.10 for a vodka and orange juice.
You get a leaf or two of lettuce and half a tomato with your steak, and have to pay an extra £2 for chips to be added.
Its really bad, all the restaurants are the same.
it is squashed, the staff are all foreign and cant take orders.
However you like your steak, you need to ask for the next up, if you like medium, ask for well done, i had medium and it was sat ina pool of blood, i was not happy paying £16 for that.
Im a true londener that moved away and i went back thinking i would try this chain, i wish i hadnt, planet hollywood and tgi's was a step away, i wish id kept walking.
Beware, if paying with card, they give you the card terminal and it asks you for a tip, if, like us you dont give one, they make a pint of snide comments and looks as you gather your things and leave.
oh, and the complimentry bread rolls cost you 90p each.
A COMPLETE RIP OFF

Tourists Beware: Don't do it.
No real Londoner would EVER eat at this chain of vile 'restaurants'.
A more sublime dining experience would be fulfilled at the very worst McDonalds.
Expensive Desperate.

Stear clear! The food is laden in oil, the service is sadly shoddy- it took fifteen minutes for the waiter to bring me my Pepsi (and I was sat on the table next to the bar)! The bread is also lacking- the description of 'fresh' breadroll is deceptive, as the only fresh thing about it is that it has been freshly whipped out of the freezer!

Joking and Dave Burnside's hilarious review aside, this is quite simply one of the worst dining experiences you could ever imagine. This a tourist hell hole that no self respecting Londoner would even contemplate eating in, but amazingly there is a constant stream of lemmings throwing themselves through the door to an uncertain future It shames me to admit that I have eaten here. The food is dull, unimaginative, poorly cooked and expensive, The standard of service equals that of hygeine… very very poor. I would seriously recommend Burger King for a better gastronomic experience.
