I have been coming to this lovely cafe for years. It's a great place to grab lunch or a quick dinner when you're working late. It's great value for money; the food is always tasty and satisfying. At £6 for a buffet meal, it's essentially the same price as a takeaway. Obviously it's not fine dining, but it is very good as a place to grab a quick bite, and certainly better value than some of the horrible places in Chinatown. The staff are charming and friendly (again, a contrast with the incredibly rude and brusque service in some Chinatown restaurants) and it's nicely decorated, and a pleasant place to eat (ditto).

One or two of the reviews are very unfair. You pays for what you gets. If you want a big, nutritious lunch with lots of options, and especially if you're vegetarian, it is very good value for its very central West End location. I challenge anyone to poay more than £8 for everything they eat and drink there. If you're looking for excellent cuisine, elegance or terrific atmosphere, you shouldn't be trying to eat at a place which is a few steps up from a cafe. Its market is more the Stockpots and very cheap-end Chinese restaurants, in which environment the food is okay and very tasty. It's true that some of it probably has stood around for a while - as it will in many cafes and buffets. What do you expect? My one complaint would be that the brocolli and carrot dish can be cold. I've been going quite regularly for over a year and the staff have always been very nice.

Hard to find fault. This is the kind of place that, were it franchised, could take over the world. Ideal for vegans, but as a meat-eater it actually took me 3 visits before I realised that there were no meat dishes!
No particular surprises from the food - tempura, spring rolls, and 'prawn' crackers for starters; good range of Chinese and Thai dishes for main course. No very spicy dishes, but none are bland either. Good authentic oriental cooking.
For £3 for a take-away box, or £5 for all-you-can-eat buffet the value is absolutely incredible. Cosy restaurant, and friendly service - they recognise regulars and always great you with a smile.
