Henry's Cafe Bar

My husband, my two best friends and I recently ate and had drinks at henry's cafe and bar and it was wonderful! It looked just like another pub from the outside but it was nice inside. The burgers were huge and delicious! The drinks were great too! I drank a banoffee and all I can say is that I wish I could find that recipe! Def worth a try!

great value for money in Covent Garden, the staff were so lovely and accomodating with our children.

The food was gorgeous and the service was brillant.

And guess what ...no service charge....heaven!!

Just been to Henry's cafe bar covent garden and I must say that I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the friendly service.

The staff could not do enough for us and were very professional.

The food was delicious and great value for money in the middle of Covent Garden.

will definitely be back

Disappointing level of service and food. The food was served on a cold plate with a sharp edge where the platter had been badly chipped. After we'd eaten the cold food the waiter cleared the plates away. In doing so he indicated for a plate then waved his hand in a gesture indicating it wasn't being passed quickly enough! We didn't enjoy being there.

A great place to go with a bunch of friends. It's a sociable lively venue with a good bar, excellent happy hour and nice restaurant.

I've always found the food and service to be fabulous in the resturant at the back. Sometimes we have had to wait a while but not long.

My only reservation would be that the bar gets very busy, and therefore smoky (roll on smoking bans!) on friday and saturday nights.

A good choice for an after-work gathering.

Have been a couple of times now, both on Saturdays, and both have been an excellent experience - the food is very good and reasonably priced, the staff are freindly, relaxed and professional and the atmosphere is great. Best place in Covent Garden.

Went to Henry's to grab a bite to eat on a busy Friday evening. The bar and restaurant was packed full of people but the atmosphere was buzzing and good. The staff were running off their feet but they were courteous and efficient. I had the Braised Lamb Shank in Marsala curry. My friends had Fish and Chips and Beef Burger. The food was very nice and prices were pretty reasonable. Would go back for drinks at the bar and quick meals in the future. A nice place to stop!

A dreadful experience on Saturday evening. Some friends and I were going to a theatre show at 7.30. We arrived at 5.30, and were told to expect a 30-minute wait to be seated. We sat and had drinks in the bar, and waited. After 30 minutes, we politely asked the manager how much longer it would take to get a table. He told us we were next in the line, and to return to the bar. By 6.25, he had taken other groups into the restaurant, and we approached him again. We explained that we had to get to a theatre show, and he explained, without apology that we would not get a seat yet. If we had known this, we would not have gone there. The service was extremely poor, and the manager discurteous and lacking a professional attitude towards his customers. Very poor.

Went there for a bite to eat on Sunday. So impressed. Food was fantastic, atmosphere lovely and price wise you can't go wrong. Brilliant for a cocktail/snack/meet up with friends/3 course meal, anything. Great time. Nice and relaxed.
