La Piazza

friday 20 2008 i went with my friend to the centre 4 shopping....at about 7 pm we decided to eat some italian food....but where?? usually restaurant, especially italian, they are really busy...but we decided to try!!

and we tried Piazza Restaurant...we were looking at the menu...restaurant was busy, and waitress (very nice looking) came to us...table for two?...why not...but we would like to eat and get out in 1 hour..can we?? waiter said ok...we ordered 2 garlic bread and i had a steak with roast potato and my friend buffalina pizza!! ok...they served us in 30 minutes (but cause was really busy)...the PIZZA was AMAZING...and the steak....was very good and tasty!!...we really enjoyed our meal!! also..all of the staff very friendly...a bit talkative but very helpful and nice!!

unfortunately i live far away from the centre..so i can't come there all the time..but...now i know where i can eat when i come to the centre!!

On 14/06/2008, I went to the La Piazza restaurant. It was a most tasteful experience. I ordered the Buffalina pizza with bruschetta and my friend had chicken risotto with a sideline of garlic bread. We also had a side salad. The service was great and the waitress that served us was very polite. Both of us enjoyed our meal as it was delicious, made more so by the service provided. This is a restaurant that I will recommend to all of my friends as the time we had was very pleasant.

on the evening of 28 april 2008 my friend and i

dined at the restaurant and ordered just 3 starters as we did not have time because we were going to the theatre.

the food arrived but the bruschetta was not quite right served as the menu described.

i informed the waiter, he replied to me saying that it was the first time a customer complained about it and told me that if i did not want the bruschetta he would change for me,

as we did not want to wait any longer, we would eat it anyway.

the bill was brought to us by a italian waiter who kept telling us that "after a busy weekend he did not need our complaint and moaning" my friend and i were very upset and we said that we will never come back to the restaurant again, the waiter replied saying that they can do without us customers.

i asked to speak the manager but it was denied.

i will pass on to all my friends this experience and make sure they dont go to this restaurant.
