We eat out a lot so were very surprised to find such excellent food(we had the burger)attentive fast service, a helpful professional manager(who supplied me with a list of the ingredients of their own sauce served with the burger)all at a reasonable price in London. We liked the place despite the tables being close. While in Covent Garden we also ate at Carluccios and Bertorelli and Lowlander came out best by far for food, service and price. My husband thought the apple crepe desert one of the best deserts he has had! (in his whole life!!!)

I love the beers and quite like the food. Atmosphere is not great since all seats are very close and there is a lot of noise. Go there for some nice Belgian ale and a good steak.

The Lowlander on Drury Lane is superb. We go for lunch every time we visit London. The beer, the food, the atmosphere, the service : all excellent. An absolute must. Not the cheapest place in town (nor the dearest) but you really feel like you've treated yourself.

The London-Eating guide pulled it off again. Following on from the other good reviews we went to Lowlander last night.

The beer list is suitably long, impressive and tolerably priced - and the beers are superb - they even stocked my personal favourite.

The food was typical bar fare - we order Burger and Mussels. Both were well cooked and very flaboursome.

The waiting staff were very good and knowledgable. One of the best places I have been to in London for a drink!!

Strongly disagree with the reviews for this place. The service is awful day or evening and the food patchy to say the least. I have come here a number of times hoping that it will get better but it never does and the lunch I had with some friends the other day was the last ever. Be warned!
