You are spoiled for choice because this shares ownership and dish quality with the sister restaurant around the corner and both are strong contenders for worst Thai food....anywhere....ever.
This is either bland or unpaletable tourist offerings from an age when a Covent Garden location meant you could get away with such things.
The mixed starters varied from the barely acceptable to the truly inedible. The main courses were blandness personified.

Now I love Thai food, and it's always a treat when we have it. Therefore I was excited when we stumbled upon this reataurant last night. My starter of honey chicken wrapped in some kind of leaf was interesting, but the chicken was not of a good quality and very mushy. My main course of chicken with cashew nuts was pretty tasteless and the noodles were too. Not great i'm afraid.

I went here on Friday night. It was busy which isn't hard as they only seat 30 or so. The service was pleasant but not too enthusiastic. The mixed starters were good but average in quality, but my main course of beef with hot basil was absolutely fantastic.

The Manorom is the best Thai restaurant I've ever been in London. It's an authentic and small restaurant with excellent food (reasonable prices) and smilling staff. It's a bit like you're on holidays ... like in Thailand!!

i ate here with my best mate tanya wyborn (fried adder) I should have looked at the sites on this website before going there especially concerning the fried adder speciality. I suspect that Tanya marriage was soley destroyed by this evil outlet. Mike did always have terrible taste in food

My husband, sorry my ex-husband, wrote on this site the he would definitly be going back to this resturant. Well not with me. If you have the same taste in food as my ex-husband, save your money, go to Burger King.
Dreadful.

When we first considered eating at Manorom, it was an act of desperation. We had tried to get into LaTasca, just up the road, but had found it incapable of servicing our food needs. We found this quaint looking Thai restaurant by accident. When we got inside, we were surprised...
...to be sent down to the basement!
The staff managed to drop sauce which was neither sweet nor sour into the eyepiece and lens of my flashy new camera. George was served after an hour, Mike wasn't served at all until George went into the kitchen with a machete like grin on his face. The rainbow fish 'Special' was a mush of tomato paste and un-named fish slush, the phad-Thai was made with Ketchup! Ketchup, how dare they ruin good ketchup by adding it to their stinking noodle. Overall the worst place I have ever eaten. It was so bad that none of the friends I was with have phoned since. Avoid the fried adder.
