We ate in this Italian restaurant this week at noon. Although the quality of the food is nothing special but plain and acceptable, much of the pleasure of eating was ruined by the surly and indifferent waiters who only seemed to be finding out how they could make us leave the restaurant as quickly as possible. When we left the restaurant, we noticed that they had a three course special each day, but our first waiter hadn't bothered to tell us so. We had ordered some wine and water, but we never got the water although they hadn't forgotten to put it on the bill. Our waiter only awoke in the ending to explain us how to pay extra for the service. What a difference with the excellent service we had in a chain like Masala Zone!

the young restaurant staff were friendly however the managing staff less friendly and were fairly abrupt when requesting time to decide on food. The wine took along time to arrive as did the condiments. The management seemed over dominant with the staff and would not let them finish their tasks. We ordered steak (mistake!). A large piece of fat on a very small (no weight in menu) steak. when asked how was your meal and showed the waiter the issue he said he would speak to manager. This fell on the manager who tried to ignore the issue until I eventually beckoned him over. No apology! Disagreed that there was an issue and reluctantly removed 3 GBP from my bill. Sub standard portions, quality and customer service terrible. Will never go again. The whole meal was not of an edible standard and we left hungry. The advertised prices on the website are substantially larger. A side salad is 4.50 as a posed to the advertised 3.75. NOT ITALIAN FOOD!

We were in London for our anniversary and decided to try this restaurant as it was near to the Adelphi Theatre. The restaurant itself is cosy and the staff were very friendly. We chose a starter and main course each. The starters were nice, nothing fancy but the food was fresh. The main course, however was extremely disappointing. My husband is not a fussy eater, but he could not eat the seafood spaghetti as it was not nice at all. We expected to pay higher prices than home because it is the capital city. I had the pork escalopes and at just under £11.00 a go I expected a plate of food - for this all I got was three small pieces of pork with a pepper sauce. If I wanted potatoes with it I would have to pay an extra £3.00 and if I wanted broccoli it was again another £3.00. We did attend at other restaurants around the area and some of them did the same charging for veg as extra, which we both think is a complete rip off. We have no problem paying for quality, but we expected a lot more for money charged. We did tell the waiter that we didn't like the seafood spaghetti but no discount or apology was offered. We would definately return to London - it is a beautiful city, but we wont visit this restaurant.

Food was good, service was very reasonable, providing a back room for our function. Value for money is lacking, as most dishes were £10 and didn't include vegetables/salad/etc. Nevertheless a cosy place to eat if you don't mind paying extra for your veg! Maybe bring it with you?

My husband and I are GREAT fans of this resturant. If you want a great meal just ask for the T Bone....

As for service, I have yet to find someone with as much love and passion as Paulo.

Hi I had dinner there last night. Complete surprise. The veal was absolutely delicious and big for that matter! House wine was great. I recommend it. Re the wait staff for god sake just wave them down. They were reasonably attentive to us.
