I took my niece to this place as she had read about it in her travel guide.It took us almost 30 minutes to get to the right place.But I have to say, it was quite worth the effort.The place, though small and a little cramped offers seating out in the sun which is situated on a nice street.The fish was a good large chunk of cod and fries were fresh and tasted home made.The people serving were pleasant and service was quite quick.We enjoyed the food and the place not to mention the aplenty tartar sauce.On the whole it was a very good experience.I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try good fish and chips at a reasonable cost in London.They also gave my niece a post card to remember them by.I thought that was sweet.

I ve been there many times and i dont think you can find a better fish and chips restaurant nowadays. Situated in a nice area, it serves huge thick cod and homemade chips for £8. I also tried the homemade samosas which was excellent. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. I strongly recommend this place for a traditional fish and chips experience.

I have been searching for decent fish and chips since I moved to London - and after 5 years I can finally say the search is over! I had cod and chips on Saturday afternoon and it was delicious! Lovely fish, excellent crispy batter (not at all soggy which it usually is in London) and fantastic chips. It was very busy and you could tell that some of the clientelle were regulars. £8 is what you would expect to pay for cod and chips in Covent Garden. Needless to say I left a clean plate and am looking forward to my next visit already!
