I have to say I really didnt enjoy it much at all.
and found it heavily overpriced, for the area, for the enjoyment and quality of the food and for the decor.
I had the powdered yam (similar to mashed potato) that was £5. Mixed Meat with okra (combined was £10/ 12) I cant quite recall.
The okra was nice, spicy but felt even whilst eating it that it was too overpriced and for that reason didn't enjoy it so much.
The meat, the beef and lamb part were good, as they were fried the texture was a good firm chew/ succulent (a man-ly meat) But, and heres the but, the tripe was very chewy (I had never had tripe before) and smelt very off putting and the cow foot (also in the mix... once again something I had never had) was not something Id recommend.
Add to that, two fruit juices, and the cost was £19, whereas Id pay no more than £10 at any other local restaurant Id eat at.
Loud R&B playing throughout, if you can eat to music, fine, I find dance music playing over eating, a little crass and off putting
Overall, High prices, very modest decor (slight tripe odour everywhere) good straight meat options, so don't feel you should be too ambitious

wanted good food fast as takeaway, i got exactly that. v pleased. each dish tasted fresh. vv pleased. in the heat of summer the bossman was kind enough to let us have the bottle of evian free. IMHO the only downside was that the decor looked tired.
