Capri is a real local gem. We moved to the area just a couple of months ago and this little italian restaurant has already had half a dozen visits from us!
Luigi, the chef and owner, is always very welcoming and the atmosphere is one of a true family run restaurant. The walls are covered in newspaper clippings and model Fiat 500's, Luigi's transport of choice. He has 4 of them and parks a different one out side every day.
The pizza is proper italian style and very reasonably priced - perfect for a mid week outing. Our favourites though are the chicken and mushroom, with fresh vegetables. The portions are generous and the flavour is rich. One of Luigi's famous Limoncello's tops the whole meal off nicely.
We can't recommend this place enough and will continue our regular visits!

The service here is excellent, both professional and friendly which is a hard mix! The food was outstanding.. best calamari I have had in a long time if not the best ever. The food was beautifully cooked and simple.. Fantastic. We will be going back again

Our never-failing local eatery - cheap enough to go to when you can't face making dinner, nice enough to go to when you want to feel taken care of. Luigi is a warm and funny host, the food and atmosphere unpretentious and cosy. If you are nice, Luigi will give you handmade sweeties at the end of your meal. Best pizza I've had outside of Italy, with chunky mozzarella and eye-watering anchivies - if you like that sort of thing!

Lovely neighbourhood trattoria with traditional Italian food, good value wine list, and an amazing selection of desserts. Inside is dark and intimate, a bit fusty even, but on the plus side, you'd hardly know you were on the Archway Road! Very friendly owner always on hand with anecdotes. Have been there on and off over the last ten years and it is always consistent. The various lamb and scallopine dishes are particularly good. If you're local strongly deserves your attention. it's a fraction of the price of San Carlo in Highgate, and while not as refined is in many ways a more rewarding culinary experience.

I went to Capri a few days ago. Admittedly the pizzas are lovely but not that impressed with the starters we had. Sardines were not fresh and the calamari wasn't great. What should have been a nice night out however was spoilt by the waitress who looked like she would rather be anywhere else and who was quite frankly rude - shame as has put me off going there again.
