The perfect place for a quick delicious plate of pasta. Service was great and excellent value for money!

I first went to Aglio e Olio four years ago with a friend who wanted me to try a particular pasta dish on their menu. Since then I have been totally hooked on this pasta dish to the extent that I have never got round to trying another main course there - yet… I have spent many happy evenings in Aglio e Olio. Last year I celebrated my birthday there with a group of friends. It is also a great restaurant for a date – especially when they dim the lights!

My favourite dish by the way is the rigatoni with broad beans. Mmmmm!

This restaurant hits the spot every time. The staff are friendly, helpful and recognise you if you are a regular. Finding a table is never a problem and the manager is charming. The food is simple but delicious especially the aubergine with goats cheese to start and the riggatoni with broad beabs and bacon for main course. The atmosphere is always buzzing and it is almost always full which gives it that important authentic Italian feel. I couldn't recommend it more highly for quick, inexpensive delicious dinner.

I can definitely say that I shall never set my foot in this restaurant again. Living locally i was tempted to visit this restaurant and finally paid it a visit the other night. Although the food actually was tasty it was not on par with the other surrounding italian restaurants with similar prices.

The main criticism however was that the service was extremely poor. The waitresses were very arrogant, plus they failed to take some of our orders (simple things such as bread and olives). When the food finally arrived the waitress sprinkled black pepper over one of my party's food before asking whether she wanted any, which resulted in further delay as the waitress reluctantly had to send the food back to the kitchen. She did not even apologise.

We had to ask for the bill twice, and when it finally arrived and we paid the manager did not even have the courtesy to be a little bit friendly and welcome us back.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, nor will i visit it again.

amazing food! my personal favorites are the calamari appetizer, meatball pasta and lobster pasta. But always check daily specials before ordering. I avoid the rush hour between 8 and 9 as it tends to get very crowded. But even if you have to wait, every bite worths.

We ate there on Saturday 11th February and couldn't fault the food or the staff!... It was extremely busy and we had to wait at the bar past the time we had booked out seats, but all the staff were happy and helpful and we were seated quite quickly. I am pleased we booked for 21.00 as any early I feel we would have been rushed, but I would happily go there again.

We visited after our team played Chelsea (it is quite near the ground) on the strength of the reviews here, and we were very happy we did. The food was excellent, as was the service despite the fact the staff were trying to grab a bite themselves before the evening rush. I had a baked cod on lentils special which was to die for. My wife and kids all had pasta, and all plates were polished clean, testament to the quality of the grub. A good menu, well served. We will definately seek it out next time we come to London.
