Hmm, I visited this establishment on 10th. November 2011, and I was most disappointed. To be frank I would rate it as a transport café. Cheap food in cheap surroundings.

We were staying in Earl's Court and decided to try this little restaurant rather than one of the many chains in the same area. Frankly, we expected more after reading the positive reviews on this site. The place has character and the staff were friendly, but the food was a disappointment. We decided to go for pasta after we saw the guests at the next table struggle with their meat dishes. I had an indifferent taglatelle bolognese, my girlfriend had a bland canneloni, which she abandoned after finding a strange piece in it - lungs? Dessert was not an option for us as the dessert cart with fruit and creamy cakes was standing in the middle of the hot dining room, unrefridgerated.

Bistro Benito has been on my short list of London eating houses since 2006. Having an annual trip to the UK, and staying in Earls Court, Benitos is just a short stroll from the hotel, so almost an every night meal while I'm there.
Once in the door, and shown you're table you get the "Gold Treament" from start to finish.
Meals are excellent, well presented, and not expensive.

Absolutely stunning allround restaurant. Visited on our first of two nights in London and loved it so much went back for the second night. Ten out of ten on all fronts. Food superbly cooked and presented. Tastes of extremely high standard. Staff both professional and friendly, especially gentleman front of house with his "low calorie desserts". Atmosphere cosy without being intrusive.
Prices alone are more reasonable than any other eating establishment in the area which all seem of the fast food/microwave variety.
Will definitely put on the agenda for all future London visits.

Our hotel in May 2011 was less than a block from Earls Court Road and we tried Bistro Benito one evening. Excellent. Went back another night. Variety of Italian food well served. Average dinner without wine was $16-20.

We went to this restaurant and were really impressed. The food is amazing and very well cooked. We were wonderfully welcomed, service was great. Prices are more than affordable. I highly recommend this place! An italian experience not to be missed!

my husband and i found this small restaurant by chance last year when he took me away for valentines weekend. and i must admit it is very small and seems quite crowded but for me that added to the experience of the evening the food was to die for and the service recieved was by far the best i have ever recieved in a restaurant,
it made us feel that we were home from home.

went to this place over the weekend!!looked inviting enough from outside!!table for 2 mite aswell been for 6??were practically sitting on the other tables laps!!old dingy decor would depress you!!anyway ordered are starters and main course,s!!starters arrived to the table!!hadnt even lifted the fork to eat it when are main course,s arrived at the table 2 seconds after our starters???was a total disaster area!!no concept of time on peoples orders!!a lot of headless chickens runing around if u ask me!!food wasnt great!!id say it was microwaved from what was given to us!!i wouldnt be ordering off the desert cart thats just left sitting in the middle of the room either??to me deserts with cream in it should be refridgerated!!also paid for meal and got no change bk of £40!!meal came to £34.50?as that wasnt bad enough u get hit with vat for 17.5%on top of the price of the meal aswell!!!my advice!!!you want proper good italian food try zizzi,s up the road:)delicious food with a great atmosphere!!!would happily pay £40 there all day long!!!DM Ireland.

I visited Bistro Benito several times in May 2001 with my family. It was just around the corner from our hotel, and we discovered it on our way to the tube. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much, we ate there 3-4 times during our week stay in London! The food was very good, the service friendly and attentive, and the price extremely reasonable for London. I highly recommend it!
