I visited Bistro Benito several times in May 2001 with my family. It was just around the corner from our hotel, and we discovered it on our way to the tube. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much, we ate there 3-4 times during our week stay in London! The food was very good, the service friendly and attentive, and the price extremely reasonable for London. I highly recommend it!

I went to this place with my father in 2005 I think. I had the best experience ever! Great food and the tempting dessert cart got to me. In fact, it was so great Im taking my boyfriend there for our 2 year anniversary, we live in Sweden so it'll be a weekend thing just to go to Bistro Benitos!
Wonderful!

A week after returning home to Philadelphia, PA. from our Christmas week trip to London, I still have warm, wonderful memories of our dinner at Bistro Benito. On our first afternoon in London, we wandered along Earls' Court Road, checking out all the restaurants that were available. As we were looking at the menu in the window at Bistro Benito, about 4 p.m., a very friendly face on the other side of the window beckoned us to come on in. We signaled that we would return later. That initial impression of Benito's was wholeheartedly confirmed when we returned a few hours later. I was reminded of trattorias in Italy: the warm welcome, conversation, good wine, and the simple, yet amazing (and affordable) food. A side dish of asparagus was the best I have ever tasted. While my husband and I enjoyed a great meal of penne alla arrabiata, our kids had fish and chips. As we ate, all sorts of people came in just to wish the owners and staff a happy new year. I felt like I was having dinner in someone's home.
Because Bistro Benito is further down the road from the tube stop than many other restaurants, I think they lose out on some business, especially to Zizzi, which is closer to the tube. I want to get the word out: Bistro Benito is excellent, reasonably priced, with a wonderful Italian trattoria atmosphere.

My friends and I ( 4 chicks) came to the Bistro one cool evening not lon ago to have a very pleasant experience! Coming from the US we were thrilled to find a Bistro.
Yes, the tables were close ( as in alot of Bistro's in Boston , Mass in the Italian Section in Boston near the Boston Red Sox Stadium. Same atmospher as Bistro Binito.
Food was good, service was great and we met a very pleasant man reading a book that stuck up a conversation with us.
It was nice and warn and the owner was very sweet! We had the soup of day and a glass of red wine. Others had a dinner-all food was Yummie!

authentic italian??! are you kidding??! if that includes prawn cocktail, chicken casserole and cod and chips then be my guest and mosey on down.
to make matters worse, the tables are so close together your thighs are practically touching your neighbour's. (great if its a young hot number, not so great if its a fat dribbling old man - which they genearlly appeared to be)
To be entirely honest I didn't stay to eat, having been put off by the not so authentic (plastic laminated) menu and being stuck out the back next to the coat rack and flourescent lighting.
Horrible.

I absolutely love this place. The staff are adorable and so attentive and the food is fabulous. My girlfriends and I come here almost every week - we just can't go anywhere else. We all love it! The only problem is the constant battle to resist the dessert cart!

I first visited this restaurant about 2 years ago and i just couldn't believe the warmth i received. After that, i had taken every single member of my family to taste their delicious food. To my mind, this is one of the very best Italian restaurant in the whole London.
The staff was very, very helpful and very chatty with the clients. The house wine was delicious and the cakes mouth watering!
All in all, this is a restaurant that comes highly recommended.

Well having been rained off Portobello Rd market last Saturday - decided to go to Earls Court early (going to Roger Waters' concert!) and find nice restaurant/bar to stay in for next couple hours - found Bistro Benito - really welcoming, quaint and interesting decor - 5 of us, 3 bottles of house red (recommended) mineral water, 3 starters, 5 mains and 5 sweets £106!!!!!!!! In the heart of Earls Court we couldn't believe it - food delicious and such a choice - would have been even cheaper had we opted for the daily special which includes side orders within meal price, size of pasta dishes nearly beat 2 of us but was so good just had to take a break between mains & sweets - no pressure for us to move on - will definitely return when next in town shopping - a couple of tube stops will be worth the time - look forward to returning.
