always makes me laugh about this place, that if anyone dares to say anything that isnt 100% in favor of the venue or food or staff, they get a load of friends of the manager writing in and saying how wonderful, 10 outta 10, etc. but I have to say that I agree with the (real?) customers below and that when me and my wife have been here a few times, giving the place a few chances to redeem themselves, they have failed to make us anything but sad. the food does seem a lot on the cold/lukewarm side and the staff seem disinterested. we will try again, as we live very very near and want success for a local restaurant which isnt part of the Nandos/Starbucks chain.. but please fellas, be more considerate of your customers. Remember, the customer is king!

Terrible experience. Both of us ordered a la carte, and therefore comparatively expensive meals. The meat that arrived was so tough I could hardly cut it, let alone chew it. The service was poor, bordering on rude. Both of us left the bulk of our food untouched and nobody asked why. Sometimes you just know there's no point complaining. All in all, this place is an insult to France and French cuisine.

An extreme disappointment. The smoked chicken in fillo pastry starter was worse than anything you could even imagine to get in the frozen section of Iceland; same for the Agneau Wellington. The pork chops were so over cooked and tough that my friend could not cut them--even with the requested steak knife. The service was poor, the attitude was poor. When I voiced my displeasure I was laughed at. This restaurant is a completely dreadful tourist trap.

Charming little bistro. £10 for three courses is incredible - I don't know how they do it. Staff friendly and efficient. Will return for sure.

One of the smallest restaurants i have ever visited but with the biggest heart. Had a great steak there far better than my steak at Harrod's the previous day. Excellent service on hand and definitely a recomended eatery if you are in the Earls Court area.

I found this wee resterant over the weekend..its small granted... but the quirkyness surpassed the size!

the staff were and polite... ! as i was with them, and rightly so !

while waiting for the food, i noticed how so many people came in , only to be turned away, only due having to pre book before hand.. some looked gutted!

we were just lucky at 6.15pm to of got that last unbooked table!

i enjoyed the £9.95 menu offer! and i enjoyed the food too :)

i kept peering over tho at other food being served to others... so for future reference i know what to expect when i choose another dish :) !

my only tiny concern is that we had the table with the wobbly table top..! so we had to be careful not to lean our elbows on it for to long!

i WILL be going back again and will take my teenage daughter too , as she likes quirkyness , like me :)

so a mega thumbs up for this wee place tucked away :)!

The cuisine of the Little French restaurant has always been excellent and the service impeccable.

But I have found recently that the service is not up to its usual high standards when a rude and arrogant employee is working. I hope they find a job elsewhere so that we can once again enjoy our time at the Little French.

every time me and my wife go to here, she cry with delight and shake with excitement that she is having little french food. our favorite is the goat and banana curry with strawberry leaf toast. and the wine is far too good to have but once a year. delicious and I am wishing i more stars put on this review. and all waiters are handsome and very kind. they even help me in weelchair to shake hand of owner Percy. very kind and distinct man. only thing wrong is flock wallpaper is very dating and new decor needed.

I travel to London from the US often and I have to say this to me is one the best restaurants in town. I have dined at many pre-set menu venues and albeit I leave satisfied I never ever feel the need to RAVE about the place. For 10.00 you get an amazing starter.. My favorite is the goat cheese, onion soup, or Med. Pepper Salad.. BOTH to die for.... I've tried each of the main courses now... and to be honest I don't have a favorite.. They are all fantastic. (The portion sizes of each course are MORE than adequate, which is nice because everyone can get a little taste if wanted and you're not in fear there won't be any left for you) Tiramasu lovers LET ME TELL YOU... The best Tiramasu you'll ever taste is here!! I tried a piece of the apple pie... and being a Yank I do love my apple pie... it was yummy and quite perfect ,but I do have to admit I was sad I did not order the tiramasu that evening as it always makes my night. You do have to pay a small up charge for veg side dish etc... just under 2.00 BUT at this price and quality (The Veg always comes out perfect) it is well worth it and is enough to split between 2 people. The house wines are very nice as well. On my last trip I brought my parents with me from Los Angeles... They were amazed and said this was their best meal they had the whole entire month they were in the UK. Make sure to make a reservation as it truly is a little french restaurant.
