We booked a table for ten for 6 April 2013 for a lunchtime birthday celebration at this little gem of a restaurant which is neatly positioned off the main road at Earls Court, giving a quiet relaxed feel of times past. Excellent food, delicious and ample portions, and all reasonably priced (including drinks), with a friendly and efficient table service. Highly recommended.

We stayed locally last week and ate twice at The Little French Restaurant in Hogarth Place, Earls Court.

We so enjoyed the meals and the staff were very polite, helpful and attentive. Shame the same cannot be said for elsewhere! The set meal was superb value for money.

When we return to London you will be the first place we visit.

Thank you very much for a great experience.

Great food and great value for money. We pre-booked with no problems. Had the 3 courses for £9.95 which was excellent value for money and the red wine wasn't expensive so all in all two 3 course meals with sides and 2 bottles of wine was £62.00...BARGIAN!

This is my second time here and won’t be my last!!

Make sure you pre book as it is a small restaurant maybe a total of 15 tables max!

Awful! Service lower than the earth. Dining in a 10 square meter with 22 people: Scandalous! And cherry on the cake, a 180 £ mistake on the bill! The waiter was aggressive and pathetic.

The french food is definitely better in France.

DON'T GO IN THERE, YOU WILL BE REALLY DISAPPOINTED !!!! THIS RESTAURANT IS A JOKE!!

We are visitors from Australia and found the Little French Restaurant by accident a few years ago and have been going back to it multiple times every time we visit London (more than 15 times)!

The food is fantastic and is excellent value. We have eaten at many French restaurants all over France and find the food at the Little French Restaurant in Earls Court on par with the best of them and better than many of them.

The atmosphere is also great as is the service. We will certainly continue to go back to it every time we visit London.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. Great value for money. Pre-booked as went there after an Olympics event. Took a chance having read about the adverse reviews which were definitely ill founded. Had some entertainment with the obviously new French waiter but the owner and other waiter assisted admirably. Would certainly go again when in the area.

Really enjoyed this place. Tucked away off the main street, it is small, but the food is excellent and the atmosphere and service very good. Went back a second time on our last night of a week's vacation, since it was the highlight restaurant for us that week. And 10 pounds for appetizer/main/desert is phenomenal. Better food and service than we had in Paris!

This was the unexpected eating highlight of our Easter weekend in London. Chose restaurant from list selected by Google maps as being very close to our hotel. Decided to ignore a few poisonous reviews obviously posted by very jealous rivals.

Located in side street off Earls Court road what the restaurant lacked in size it made up for in atmosphere. No frills surroundings, bare tables and floorboards, just good food at sensible prices. £9.95 3 course menu very good value but I wanted a steak so chose a la carte. Cooked beautifully with superb pepper sauce. Wife thoroughly enjoyed lamb wellington. Total bill including drinks and 10% service was £42.00 for two. Recommend arrive early and book ahead - it was packed by 8pm.

Forget the chains - support the quirky independents.

Baffled is the only word I can use to describe the three previous, poor reviews of this restaurant. I'm not a friend of the owner or manager but someone who has used it for a number of years now. In fact I have taken friends and relatives there three times over the last four months and all the people enjoyed the experience. It's not haute cuisine and some of the dishes have obviously not been cooked on the premises. However, as far as the £9.95 menu is concerned, the choice of three courses on offers represent value for money. I have never felt that the staff were anything else but helpful. So, you have to balance up this and other reviews that have praised or complimented this unpretentious restaurant with those who have been greatly disappointed. I'm not a sycophant, having never met the owner, nor a 'friend' but I would not hesitate to recommend The Little French Restaurant for what it is – decide for yourself.
