Ajanta

I have been coming here since around 1999. The food has always been delicious, all my friends and family have eaten here over the years and I can say none have been disapointed. I have from time to time tried other indian restaurants in the area and non have come close to the mark of the Ajanta. I will continue to go back again and again.

This is a well established restaurant with the same staff serving as long as I can remember, this is a no frills place but honest good Quality food, at sensible prices,The area itself is one of the best all round locations, and has been for the past 100 years. and i know cos i live here.

Visited on a Thursday evening for a very quick bite before cinema. Quite busy for the time but still got a table straight away. Waiter was efficient. Food was fine, standard curry house- nothing out of ordinary. Very relaxed atmosphere- waiters seemed to know many diners and they shared laughs.Many seemed like regualars which is always a good sign of a restauarant. Mix of diners ages too.
