Have lived near this restaurant for ten years and never visited - how annoying, it's very good. We had a fantastic fresh herb salad with our dips to begin. Then gorgeous grilled meats with a spicy tomato sauce. All healthy and fresh and served by friendly staff. Will definitely become a regular.

Nice little restaurant. Very very good value for money. Nice food and enough to fill you up. We had 2 bottle of wine and a few beers. We ended up paying just under £25 each and we enjoyed the food so much. You can see the grilling of the food and it is just perfect. I would highly recomend this little restaurant .

Istanbul Meze is one the best restaurants in London. Atmosphere can be seen as its only drawback because it is a bit dark. But the food is delicious, very good quality for the price. The staff is kind, service is good. I love this place. I would recommend it to anyone.

What a great find! Really friendly staff and delicious food. We had a set menu which was about £11 or 12 for two courses - we shared starters of meze and humous which were delicious then had shish chicken for mains.
Really good atmosphere - we'll definitely be returning.

Living near by, we go to this reastaurant at least once a week. Every time we go we thoroughly enjoy our visit. We have been to turkey many times and love the place, and this little gem of a restaurant gives us that authentic taste that other, more expensive restaurants, try and fail to emulate. The pitta bread, olive and carrot platter is complimentary, demonstrating what a great local restaurant is all about. Add to this some of the best humous i have ever tried and you cannot go wrong. The main courses are delicious, and we have tried many, but i keep going for the lamb now as it is always so tender. The portions are healthy and the staff friendly, especially when they get to recognise you. The main dishes can take a while to arrive, but at least you can see you food being prepared from fresh, and with the ambiance of the place being soft and relaxed, the time slips by (with good company, obviousy).
The best thing about the place has to be value for money. There are so many Turkish restaurants that over charge and dissappoint, whereas this place wows everytime. In fact, my mouth is watering, and i'm going to go tonight.
Highly recommended, and if you ever visit Istanbul, go the the Moon restaurant as recommended by the manager of this little place.

I have been to this restauarnt many times over the past few years and I have to say the food is spot on. Very tasty hearty dishes and great selection all cooked right in front of you. This place is defintley one of the best meat places to eat at in london and the prices are superb too. Service is good and when its full the atmosphere is great partculary on fridays and saturdays. Can really fault this place.

Wonderful place - highly recommended! The food is delicious: light and fresh tabbouleh, gooey hummus, smokey eggplant, and succulent meat. The service is very pleasant. Prices are incredibly low: 6.95 for smoked aubergine with a lot of minced lamb (incl. rice and salad) - almost more than you can care to eat. They serve all their food with this delicious home-made smokey hot sauce (type salsa). Good for vegetarians too.
Since I live closeby and I like the place so much, I've been here many times - not once been disappointed! One of my top favourite places in London!

The best turkish food I have had in london at amazing prices despite a very central location. A large charcoal grill is at the end of the restaurant with all the ingredients laid out. Very fresh. Meats are very well seasoned and tender. The spicy chili sauce is also amazing and puts to shame every single kebab you have had before. A bit more difficult for vegetarians are non-meat lovers but there are some choices here as well.
One of the best value for money restaurants in London. Highly recommended.

This place has hands-down the best hummous I've ever tasted. A friend and I went for lunch and had their lunch special: can't remember the exact price but around 7.95 or so and included starter, main and coffee or tea. Really fresh and delicious food. Would like to go back for dinner and have recommended to friends.

One of the best places I have been to in London. Friendly waitresses, outstanding food, reasonable priced wine. All in all a highly recommendable place to eat. We had starter maincourse and desert, 2 bottles of turkish red wine (No.2) and left all with the promise to come back soon. Total to pay was £84.75. Not bad for 5?
