I took my fussy French client to Abiba and we both enjoyed our evening there.
Frankly, I had little doubts as the reviews were absolutely contradicting. After all, I have to add my voice to those who were well pleased with the food and the service. It’s an interesting place because they offer a variety of different European and Mediterranean dishes, which we found very appealing.
I really enjoyed my fillet steak with mushroom sauce and my client loved his lamb cutlets. My advice is to leave some space for their desserts as my client found the apple Tarte Tantin very authentic.
Excellent value for money.
I’ll be a regular.

Went in with a group of friends on Friday before a night out. Staff were attentive, not over fussy. Food was good, higher standard than I expected for the price& wine within my budget (a nice Merlot). We were a mixed group with Australian's & halal meat eaters. All of us were impressed and would like to say thanks for a lovely evening to the staff - So much so I've just recommended it to a group of girlfriends that are going out on Saturday. They want somewhere they can enjoy their food & order a couple of bottles of wine to chat over and enjoy their evening in an atmosphere that will enhance that. We were in early but as long but the candlelit tables would be great for a later evening.

I took my husband for a romantic meal at Abiba Cuisine and overall it was fantastic. The food was extremely delicious, service was fantastic and the ambience was so romantic especially with red candles on every wall. The soft music made our night. I would give Abiba 10/10 for everything they offer.
I would apologies to everyone at Abiba about the previous review wrote by someone called Bobbi. I salute the staff in Abiba for their hard work and commitment to offer their guests a superb service. Do not believe the previous review they were either hired or very sad people. The food was one of the best we ever tasted. Highly Recommended.

Went for dinner last thursday night not that the 3 course doesn't include dessert! first course is the appetiser which is bread and olives... rather ordinary in my opinion.
starters was not too bad... I ordered the baked mushrooms with garlic and cream sauce which was pretty nice! My boyfriend ordered the fried squid which wasn't very nice... the greek salad that the adjacent table ordered looked good though...
The main course was quite nice, decent portions. The waitress was attentive and friendly... nice decor too.
Well, for the price it was alright, but nothing to rave about really! Slightly above average food and service but not outstanding.

Don't be enticed by the £9.95 special...the food is worth 1/4 of that and the service is worth 0!
The restaurant is small and the tables & chairs are for children. They really pack people in there but forget about them. the service is very poor and it's impossible to get a refill on your drink.
The so called three course dinner is a bit of a scam. The first course is a bowl of olives that must have been dumped in a container of salt and they were old & turning funny colors. There was also a balsamic vinegar & oil (not extra virgin olive oil) with three pieces of very old, stale and small baguette. You have no choice in the first coure...this is it.
The second course you have a choice of starters...hot or cold. I had the aubergine which said it was grilled on the menu but it was mashed with mayonnaise (not yogurt like it should be). It was tasteless and really watery with a slick of oil ..again not olive oil, on the top of it. It was served with pita bread but it had no taste and was very thin like a crepe.
My husband had the hallumi cheese which is supposed to be grilled but it was deep fried...a big no no.
My main course was cubes of chicken which was fine but it came with a salad which had nothing on it and the vegetables were just thrown on the plate....they weren't cut up well and no one came over to ask if I wanted dressing. I don't even think they have anything except some water oil.
My husband had the mixed grill which he said was good except for the beef which was tough. That came with rice which he didn't like and a small side of hummus.
The service is so poor in this place. We were ignored except when our food came out and we had to wait a long time before getting our main course. No one came by to ask if we wanted more drinks even though we had finished what we had over 30 minutes ago...and I got so fed up that I had to track someone down and request my bill.
The toilets are upstairs so be aware if you have mobility issues and they're very steep and narrow. The toilets are clean but it worried me that there was no hot water in either sink....I believe it's the law that a restaurant must have hot water to wash their hands...otherwise they're not getting clean and those dirty hands touch the food.
We warned a couple reading the menu not to eat there and they thanked us and left. It is that bad. If you're looking for Middle Eastern food there are tons of places around Bayswater. You can even get a better and fresher meal at Fresh..the juice place just down the road.
Avoid this place at all cost....the 'special' is just not worth it.

Travel & food are my passion. I have been to almost every capital in the world but I haven't found a similar place where the finest food (Italian/French & Lebanese) meet on one table.
My girlfreind loves salads so our starters were SALADE NICOISE and the famous TABOULEH.
The Tuna and Anchovies were so delicious in the salad Nicoise and you cannot beat the freshness of the Mediterranean flavours in the Tabouleh.
Being a meat lover I couldn't resist the sound of Filetto Al Pepe (Steak flamed in brandy with crushed black pepper)for my main course. Truly exceeded my expectation. My girlfreind loved her perfectly grilled SEABASS which was served with freshly baked vegetables.
Although full, we wanted to try the mud Icecream cake (Chocolate/coffee & cookie crunch all lavished in fudge) as it is quite popular in the States but rare in Europe. Sensational!!
Our surprise was yet to unveil when we got our bill which came to under £35. London Eating offer is amazing!!
Highly recommend to those who appreciate good food, combined with great ambience and excellent service.

I visit this restaurant regularly and always recieve the best service. I have a 18 month old child and it is so refreshing to go to a restaurant in central london with a child friendly area. He absolutely loves it in the play area, (though small) it's Great!! and we get to relax and eat our meal. Food is always fantastic and the staff are soooo helpful. Would definately recommend to anyone especially those with kids. For those of you without kids dont worry the play area is sound proofed and at one end of the restaurant so they wont get in your way.

A group of us went there for a catch up meal. The service was super friendly and extremely patient with our table. I loved the food it was great to have a real good steak for a change, but I must say everyone’s food was delicious. I loved the large variety available even on the special offer menu, something to tantalize everyone's taste buds. Value for money was unbelievable £10 for three courses. We could barely fit the last course in. I loved the style and decor and the restaurant was really clean. Only compliant (because I have to think of one) our table had been we listened to the same Robbie Williams Greatest Hits CD the whole night. Not that I am complaining.
