Trevi Ristorante Italiano
your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne
I live very close to El Trevi and have had varied experiences here.
Lately,(January 2007) portions seem to have been diminished in size and prices seem to have been increased. On another occasion the butter was rancid.
The proprietor and his family are very friendly and welcoming - very Italian - but its standards seem to be going the wrong way! This is a pity because the "mock" Italian restaurant fifty yards away seems to be keeping its clientele.
I hope standards improve.

Please ignore the previous review. My husband and I have eaten at Trevi three three times and the service and food have always been impeccable. The owner and staff are very professional, friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is authentic italian and very reasonably priced. Give it a try!

To the person who wrote the above... your comment would carry more weight if you had the guts to put your name to it, and what is a 'burgher'?
However, I have sampled the food at Trevi and it is fantastic. It is simple, fresh Italian food at it's best.

Is there so little on offer for the poor burghers of Surrey that they should be willing to suffer the rude service and mediocre food of this establishment? Il Patrone swaggers around and thinks himself the Carluccio of the commuter belt; he and his team bully and intimidate the old folks of the town through the starters and main courses and kick them out the other side of the sweet trolley.
Take sandwiches.
