Birthday dinner for a friend, booked a table for 9: an hour wait, rude seating hostess, incompetent waiting staff (topping up different types of wine and thinking that mistake is funny, not getting order right several times, some side orders not delivered, steak well done instead of medium rare etc, overall very slow and clueless,- , once we sat down at the table it took them another hour to take the food order, finally got my main course at midnight. Music is ok but service appalling. Wont be going back

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! BEYOND AWFUL!
Booked a table for a Saturday night as a reunion for a group of friends. No word on the booking or even the standard confirmation call that we could only have the table from 7-9pm.
Was seated fine only to be told that we've got the table until 9pm. Was spoken to like a bit of dirt when told that we were never informed this was the case, we were more or less told to 'deal with it. - you've only got time for a main course.' Unbeliveable, to be fair, we should've walked out at that point.
The restaurant was packed as you would expect it to be on a Saturday night. The service was unfriendly and rushed, we asked for one of the staff to take a photo of us but she said she was too busy.
The only saving grace was that the food was good, we had the chateuabriand and it was tender and cooked perfectly. If only the chefs could know the jumped up idiots that are running the front of house.
Half way during our main course, the waiter put his hand on my friends' shoulder and told him to hurry up. No word of a lie! We never bothered with deserts as the next sitting was ready to be seated, hanging round our table.
We were still finishing our drinks when we are asked to finish them at the bar, then were moved from the area we were standing in. Luckily one of our group was a doctor used to dealing with clowns in A&E so she quickly cut him down to size.
Although the food was good we left with a bitter taste in our mouth from some of the worst dining experience I've ever experienced in my life.
I can understand a restaurant being successful but this is blatant arrogance, treating people like the bits of meat they serve on a plate.
Tried calling the following day to speak to the manager and seriously complain but he couldn't be bothered calling back despite two calls to chase up.
London doesn't need restaurants like this, we can do so much better. They need to spend the massive service charges they add to your bill on some serious customer service & interpersonal skills training.
This place was so bad we still laugh at the brass neck of management thinking this is anywhere near acceptable. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! There are so much better restaurants around here. Oh, and if you want a proper Mojito try any other bar round there. They're even more expensive than Claridges' bar.
Spread the word as we have.

Great atmosphere and vibe, but the food and service is rubbish. Scallops were dry and tasteless, and at £15 for a starter you'd expect more. My clients didn't finish their main courses, dry grissle ridden steak and 'slow' cooked pork were "all bar one" standard. Drinks orders were painfully slow, to the point we had to ask more then one waiter for wine when all of my guests had empty glasses at the table - a 15 minute wait for a bottle of wine at a restaurant is unacceptable... especially if entertaining clients. The upside is great live music, but don't waste your money battling with overstretched staff and pretty awful food... just go for drinks and samba. The servce charge is robbery, but if like me you're too British to match the rudeness of the quality of their restaurant and still pay the service charge, then go for an overpriced Lidl steak and cool vibe. 4/10

I organised my friend's hen night at Floridita for last Saturday and it was a HUGE success. From the moment we arrived everyone was friendly and helpful.
Yes they did ask my friend to remove the Hen accesories as it was the restaurant's policy but the secuirty guard was very apologetic about the whole situation. But we didn't let it spoil our night.
The food was great and very tasty. The vegetarian option of the set menu was slightly disappointing but everything else more than made up for it. The staff were very attentive and didn't pressurise us at any time.
The live music was absolutely fantastic and we danced all night. The dance floor is not big enough for everyone but there is such a good atmosphere it doesn't really matter.
It is a little pricey but it is the west end after all so probably not if you factor everything in.
It was a great night out. My friend loved it and we will definitely go again.

My hen night meal was booked here there was a fantastic party atmosphere which was spoilt by the staff asking me to take off my hen decorations as it didnt meet with their image. The food was fantastic loved the music and dancing which was fortunate because 6 pounds per head is added to the bill just for the band! I would go again if there is a special offer on or for a special occasion.

Last weekend I celebrated my Birthday with friends at Floridita, it was brilliant,so different from other late spots in London with a older, party crowd and no pretence. Ask the team about Floridita Bar's rum collection and they will whip you up a cocktail or two and tell you lots of interesting facts....I can't remember them anymore as I had too many!

A fantastic had by myself and three of my friends.
We arrived at 9pm for a late table. The venue was in full swing and it didnt take many of their delicious cocktails to get us in the mood also.
Food had by all was fantastic, flavour combinations were brilliant and I would never have thought of them.
The live Cuban band was brillianty also, playing late into the evening.
A great find in Soho!!!

Very stylish bar, great music and atmosphere but drinks extremely expensive. They come over to the table to take your drinks order but if you opt to pay at the end they take your debit /credit card and bring back a bar tab card replacement which I found unnerving. Also a lot of reserved seating on a Friday and they keep asking people to move.
