I just ordered a take away from cafe rialto. I have had a bizarre craving for calamari for a while now so I ordered a "main portion" - which was the starter plus an additional cost for bulking up.

I also ordered some king prawns, same deal as above.

I should have checked the contents, as I noticed the bad was quite light, but when I opened them up at home there were 8 calamari rings and 4 king prawns. all for the princely sum of 15 pounds. the prawns tasted delicious but they were gone before you could register the taste!

When we were waiting the other peoples food looked very good. Maybe they just stuffed our order and only gave us a starter but I was severely disappointed and certainly wont be ordering take out from there anymore.

My boyfriend and I visit this restaurant quite frequently. I'm not usually a fan of italian/mediteranean food but the menu really has something for everyone. The portion sizes are huge and the food is reasonably priced and very tasty. The only thing that i would say is don't go here if you're in a rush; the service is friendly but relaxed and so waiting times vary considerably. Also, they always have a few bottles of wine around that aren't on the wine list so it's worth asking what's available when you go.

If you live near this place, definitely visit.

It's a lovely little italian and the food is of a very high quality, despite the cheap prices.

From the outside it doesn't look that tempting but once inside it has a real Mediterranean feel about it and the staff are brilliant.

This place get busier every time I go and it has to be due to value for money, word of mouth, a good dining experience and something to do with the lovely deserts and the wonderful garlic bread.
