Chop Chop Noodle Bar

Food always fresh and good quality, large portions, low prices and you can't beat the location (directly across King's Cross). Particularly recommend the freshly squeezed orange juice. I'm going there quite regularly and I've been introduced to the place by a business partner who has been a regular for even longer.

Only downside is that it can get *very* busy, so I recommend avoiding peak times if possible.

A frequent diner at Chop Chop over the last 2 years my experience today means that I will not be returning.

Whilst undoubtably cheap I think this place bites off more than it can chew in terms of customer numbers.

1300 arrive for lunch - table for 1

1310 given menu

1315 order - 1 x satay chicken 1 x butterfly prawn 1x singapore fried rice

1340 eventually still mineral water turns up (I'd ordered sparkling)

1345 no food

1355 - loose patience as i see my order given to another table of irate customers who tuck into it (who can blame them - they'd been waiting an hour)

1400 start putting my coat on - manageress comes up to me and says it is OK for me to go (I presume she means try a free water on me)

1401 Exunt stage left stating loudly that I won't be back.

very popular place which insists on offering a takeaway service at the same time as table service - only problem is that takeaway service seems to take priority. This means that the owners are GREEDY and in their GREED have lost me - a regular customer who is writing this cheesed off reveiw because he is hungry having missed his lunch!

CHOP CHOP they certainly ain't

This is a great chain of restaurants. The food is fresh and lovely. It arrives quickly & costs very little. It is a great place to go if you haven't got bags of time & just want that typical chinese taste.
