An absolute gem!
By far the best Chinese in the area. As mentioned in the other reviews, service is great and the food is brilliant. Wouldn't eat Chinese anywhere else.

Simply the best chinese food in London! Fantastic service-even though it was busy and wonderful food as well as atmosphere!
Stumbled across this restaurant and glad I did...it is now a firm favourite!

Fed up with restaurants where service is poor and unfriendly? Fed up with the same old dishes? We've just been back to the Formosa for the third time - the food is authentic Chinese/Taiwanese and excellent quality. Go with a Chinese speaker, ask for the Chinese menu. The 'Drunken chicken' and Wuhan prawns were absolutely scrumptious. Service is friendly. The staff make whole experience so enjoyable. Two extremely happy customers here and we'll go back.
