Fiesta Havana (Fulham)

I'm a colombian who came to London 3 years ago. I know what latin clubs should be like. Fiesta Havana is definitely a bad example of what latin america is actually like. For any one looking for a proper latin night out.... why not try out an amazing peruvian restaurant in London Bridge called Tito's. All the food is Fresh and tasty. The place also has a latin club called 'La Pollera Colora' which reaches full capacity week after week. A mixture of Latin Music! No English Music is played!. ONLY FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS THOUGH!

I made the mistake of suggesting Fiesta Havana's restaurant to my friends as they wanted to have fun in a true Latin place in London last week. What a disappointment. Their staff was extremely rude and inattentive and by the end I was actually ashamed to have take them there as my friends were all visitors in London. Next time I want to take friends out to have a taste of my own culture (I'm a South American living in London) with true Latin warmth and friendliness, I will certainly not be taking them to Fiesta Havana again!!

My previous review was rated with 1s but somehow this site has given it a 9 star rating!
The only good thing about Fiesta Havana is attitude....they rate top marks for having a lousy attitude, lead by the managress - totally fouled mouth!

Fiesta Havana - great music and salsa dancing classes but don't even contemplate ordering food no matter how tempted by the menu!!!
We waited 1.5 hours with constant reminders to the waitress but alas we were dismissed. She was too busy, the managress was too busy... but no one else was ordering food. Finally we cancelled our order and left! followed closely by the bouncer.... the official thug..... customers are no long right, they are a menance but such establishments require our patron.... nothing makes sense nowadays with the arrogance of supposed managers, bouncers, etc. so if you are going to fiesta havana - eat elsewhere or you will be neglected/ ignorred and swore by their inefficient managress.

We arrived to Havana's on a Saturday night expecting to hear latin music, at least some salsa this is what is mentioned on their website and it is supposed to be a Latin Club BUT we did not hear any. We were very disappointed and headed to BAR CUBA in Kensington High Street, this I believe is the best Latin club in London.

The clumsy English to Spanish translations on the menu ("blackened salad of chicken" is a less-egregious example) should have been a warning that the food has about as much to do with Latin America as the ear-piercing techno-soul that blasted us from our seats as we were trying to finish our drinks. My beef skewers were meager lumps of gristle and fat, served cold then promptly microwaved in respone - to the plate's further detriment. Througout the meal, I was alternatively blasted by hot dry / bone-chillingly cold air from the aircon. Fiesta Havana is probably a decent dance bar but I wouldn't go back to eat.
