I had my first experience of the mayflower and it was not good. I ordered two Japanese set meals, for £30 and I received only one persons portions, with half the tempura prawns and half the yakitori chiken missing. When I called to complain, even though they admitted they were misleading they only offered to send another sushi box, which didnt arrrive until really late. I will not be using them again, and would not reccomend them to anybody.

I've been to Mayflower for quite a few times with friends. The food is okay standards as you would expect. But on a Saturday evening it is best to go a little earlier, say around 6pm or so to avoid the rush! I have to say the waiters were a lil' rude, and made us felt a bit rushed. But, most Chinese restaurants are famous for being notoriously rude - maybe they're just being efficient and fast-service..

I have been to this restaurant many many times, and the food is really good. You get more than decent portions, and 25% off when eating-in.
