Ate here last night with my wife and another couple and received a warm friendly greeting on entering.

The food was delicious and tasty as always, I've moved 9 miles away and coming back here puts all the local Indians to me to shame.

Definitely still highly recommended. Staff remember me and are very friendly and take the time to chat.

Pros: Food, Value, Service, Atmosphere

Cons: Service can be a little slow but it's not a major issue.

We went last night and the food was clean and not at all greasy, as I often experience in Brick Lane, but the chicken tikka Mogali and the nan weren't amazing and lacked a little taste.

I have to say the waiter was more interested in talking to his mates who were eating in the corner and playing with his phone than he was in taking our orders or even our payment at the end!

Not sure, perhaps I'll try it again to see if the other dishes are more tasty as I like the simple, no-brick lane touting and cleanliness of the food.

love it, im a proper cockney and these chaps are my kind of people,family run gaff,with a lovly vibe,as soon as i ring up and say "alright bruv" he knows its me !

it has that personal touch,which is so lacking these days and that is priceless,what else can i say,love ya bruv and dad to!! and i know i don't even have to say my name!! x ps. by the way ,the grub is lovly,and they cook it according to how you like it,a set menu,that is open to change,better and maccy dee's and the other gaffs about!

and they dont't treat or see you has just a few quid,but really treat you as family,if you've been you know what i mean,if you 'ant,then you will if you do!!

its a family affair! x
