Lam's Chinese Restaurant

Looking at Lams from the outside you cant expect much, walking through the door, your astounded by the sudden change in atmosphere.
Its clean and bright, pan pipe music the works. The staff are extremely friendly and polite (she did drop food on my jeans but was so apologetic and offered free drink etc, i refused because she was so sincere.
The food was grand too, the sizzling dishes are a must. Every portion is the right size with plenty left over ^_^, the average price is consistant throughout the menu and you couldnt ask for anything more from your local chinese (that also do delivery too)
We now go regularly and i encourage others just to try it once, u wont be dissapointed. Oh yeah and you get complementary popadoms too :) Great xx

Very much a spur of the moment decision as we walked past. We were politely welcomed and shown to our table.
The selections available from the menu were similar to other establishments. Our choices were attentively served and in a timely fashion. I think we spent about £35 with drinks - very happy! We shall return

It's our local Chinese. Average price for a supper for two including drinks is about £30. Everything one would expect from an average Chinese restaurant: the duck is crisp, and the prawns are sweet-n-sour. Tsingtao beer is a must. You can also ask for some Chinese dishes like eal fried in honey sauce which are not always on the menu.
