Homage at The Waldorf Hilton

3 courses for 29 pounds. Very pleasant, limited choice but had nice meal of hot smoked mackeral salad, confit of duck and strawberry parfait. My friend's roast lamb looked ordinary but had a nice sauce and the chocolate pudding with plum sauce was a hit. Service good and nice ambience - a bit on the posh side but elegantly so with the Grecian columns and whiff of Wilde about this theatreland hotel. Free sparkly and extra glass of wine comes at about six pounds. Nice for couples and small groups.

1st time back sine 2005 and as impressed as the last time.

Walked in and got a table - early Tuesday evening - and the menu whilst changed was just as good, service just as good and even felt less stuffy.

I'd recommend to all and will return in 2009!!
