Lovely setting. Good quality food ( everything is homemade). We enjoyed very much.

The setting is lovely and the staff are very pleasant. However, neither I nor my partner liked our food. The duck starter was ok but heavily loaded with sweet chilli sauce, which overpowered the flavour of the duck. I couldn't touch the second course, which was bream, because it just smelt odd. My partner had lamb stew which he said was ok but he didn't finish it so it couldn't have been that good. I didn't rate it that much/

The food was OK the service good. The wine list short and uninspired, and the menu seems to have been arrond for too long. The price was oK considering the great view and its non smoking. Hamptons can be beaten too eaisly these days.

I have visited the restaurant on many occasions and believe it to be one of the most exciting restaurants in my local area. the a la carte menu is constantly changing to suit the seasonal foods. food is excellent quality and well presented although can be on the expensive side....but well worth it. service is to a good standard - always happy to help. negetive side. view is amazing.....try to request rotunda seat if possible

I've been to Hampton's Restaurant on a number of occassions and have always found the staff to be friendley and helpful. The food has been of good quality and reasonably priced. The wine choice is extensive and well priced.

Hamptons has to be amongst the most disappointing restaurant experiences I have ever had. We went for a very special occasion and had appauling service and bland and overpriced food. We sent one meal bakc to the kitchen, but were told "by the chef" that there was no problem with the food. The steak had a ball of lard the size of a squashed golf ball, and frankly I would not have given it to my dog. The view is lovely, but the service and food are absolute rubbish. Go to harvester instead.
