i went to kaslik on a saturday (yesterday), and i had a fanastic time, even though the place was small the atmosphere was lovely and really relaxing. the music was nice. the menu was a little confusing, but the waiters help you. the starter was excellent, that alone was filling enough.

the service was excellent, the belly dancer was nice even though it was a tad bit short and the shisha afterwards was the best ive had in a long time

however i would recommend you always ring and book before hand.

Very good food, good service, great relax atmosphere. You can even have a shisha on the terrace at the end of the dinner...PERFECT! Highly recommended.

I don't understand most of the reviews on here. I went to Kaslik with my girlfriend last weekend for a simple dinner after the theatre and we were very happy with the atmosphere, food, and service. £10 for a very good mixed grill entree seems very reasonable to me so I don't see how people are calling this place expensive. We asked for dessert after the bill came and they gave us a huge plate of baklava for free. The place is definitely very small but I'm not sure how anyone could complain about that given they decided to eat there in the first place.

Over priced ,overcooked food the chefs seem more interested in smoking outside the restaurant than presenting good food. no belly dancer ,very badly presented cocktails prepared by amateurs. I ordered a mojito , it was more like mint tea than mojito. A very dissapointing experience.

Been to Kaslik on Friday night for my friends hen night it was my first visit there and it will certainly be my last.. All in all a complete disaster we were a group of 10 they gave us two tiny tables and the seats were so close together we could hardly move. Not much to say about the food, over cooked over priced and very slow sloppy service. after the first round of drinks they ran out of ice so we had to drink without ice, the place is very hot and stuffy. i would not recommend it.

Unlike the reviews below, I went to Kaslik last night with my girlfriend and we had a really great meal. It seems unfair to me to complain about it being stuffy and uncomfortable when it is clearly a small soho restaurant with low tables - if you dont like that, then why sit down?

We ordered the large mezze and the waiter was very accomodating when we wanted to change a few dishes. He was friendly and polite, though a little rushed and brought us everythink in a very timely manner.

The food itself was delicious. The falafel we extremely fresh and fluffy, the vine leaves were excellent and the sujuk (sausage) was some of the best I've tasted. In fact food-wise there was nothing to complain about at all.

Clearly it can be hit and miss, but for a mid-week meal when its not too busy, I don't think you could do much better than Kaslik.

I had dinner at Kaslik on Wednesday night and I was very dissapointed, I love Lebanese food and I decided to take my new boyfrien there, what a dissapointment from outside the place looks nice and cosy but inside it is a mess, for some strange reason they have candles everywhere, with that and the smell from the charcoal grill it is hot and stuffy. The food is dissapointing, and over priced even the service is slow and sloppy. I was expecting to see a belly dancer but the waiter said its at the weekend only. All in all a complete let down.

We dined at this restaurant last night - we booked for the special offer which they are currently promoting. I am not quite sure what the offer is as our food was appaling to say the least, the mixed grill consisted of burnt pieces of meat followed by a desert of greasy baklawa, Ive tasted better from the supermarket.

Added to this the low seats are very uncomfortableand the tiny tables are too close together for people to eat in comfort.

The people at the next table ordered shisha, amazingly the waiter came with the shisha pipe in his mouth blowing smoke in my face I thought this was rather rude and unhygienic.

It was a very hot night, despite this they had candels on every table, adding to the heat from the shisha pipes and the charcoal grill it was very uncomfortable.

as for the Special Offer it can only be described as false advertising and should be investigated by the trading standards.

Our bill was extortion, all in all a complete rip off.
