Green Papaya

I went to the restaurant with my guest last night.　and we really enjoyed their food.

but one thing I felt really uncomfortable. we ordered vegetable pancake because it's my favorite dish. but they brought meat one. we didn't tell them because we always enjoy their food and i didn't bother them to waste the dish.　but I asked to change the sauce because it's too strong and the sauce is quite different than veg one. so I asked fish sauce instead of soy sauce. then they brought it to us. Then we really enjoyed their fantastic food. but when we saw the bill, we found the price for fish sauce. we couldn't believe it. it's small thing but we thought they have to tell us before they put the price on. we felt really disappointed for this small thing. And we thought we should tell them the dish we order was wrong and they should change it..... the dinner end on a sour note.

I went to The Green Papaya for the first time for my birthday recently and it was a great choice. We had an absolute feast and several bottles of wine between us and still spent less than £20 each. The food was fantastic, particularly the salt chilli prawns starter and the braised lamb. There is plenty of choice on the menu and some unusual and inventive options. Service was great, our food arrived on time with nobody waiting for their food and the staff are courteous and friendly. Very warm atmosphere - lots of happy diners. Thoroughly recommend it and will be going again soon

I love this place, I've tried going to other vietnamese places in the area and keep coming back here. Everything is gorgeous, the bill included.
