i have been to this restaurant twice as its very close to the hampstead theatre and i really enjoyed the lovely atmosphere there. the starters were fresh and well made while the meat was nice and juicy, shame no space left for dessert as the portions were very generous. the service was complete and satisfactory yet not very sophisticated,,,overall i love the small restaurant and at £20 per head including drinks its very good value as well,,,,well done

I have been to this restaurant about five times this year. 4 times out of 5 the food has been really good. The starters are delicious as is the meat nice and tender. It is also fantastic value for money at £30 for two starters and two main courses and drinks.

My only gripe is that they bring out the main course far too quickly, sometimes even before you finish your starter. The last time I went, I asked them to take the main course back as I was only half way through the starter and when I asked for my main course, the meat was overdone and dried out. I will put that down to a one off as normally the meat there is delicious.

Great little neighborhood restaurant. Been there numerous times and have always experienced good quality food, extraordinary value, and decent service which I would value as above average and accommodating. Any deficiency in service seems to be associated with being very busy - not acceptable under most circumstances for an established restaurant - and it can happen. I find I need to be patient in London restaurants and not take it personally. I enjoy the casual atmosphere and plan to going back frequently.

Went to eat there at the weekend and I wish that I didn't bother!

Food was cold & stale, service was awful and when complained the staff were very rude :-(

Please save your money and go elsewhere

very impressive little restaurant with arabic dishes and very nice alaadine style decore ,the service is very reasonable,prices are very very reasonable....if you are not grumpy and fussy & like big dishes with nice running arabic moving songs & misic so no other better place than arabesque you will love it

Nice 'mam & papa' decor with pleasant atmosphere.Ordered the pre theatre falafel plate which had a small selction of meze type foods. The hoomous and tzatzeki were tasty and fresh, a cooked pastry containing a cheese was bland but the chopped salad with mint was freshly prepared crisp and crunchy. Only let down by the falafel which were hard with thick crust and reheated - microwave? White house wine served at room temperature inspite of requesting it to be chilled but ice bucket provided and after 15m ins was good value and interesting.
