I went to this restaurant because of the previous reviews and I have to say I absolutely don't agree with them.

Service and ambience were ok but I didn't like my food: pork and prawn dumplings (£4) were less than average and my main from the chef special (£7) had a nice taste but the lamb in it was almost inedible, hard and chewy.

Also my partner's choice was nothing special and not fresh at all.

We went there with great expectations and that's probably why we were so upset. I won't go back, there are so many better options for the same price in the NW area.

Have been going there for past 2 years, at least once a month. Staff is always the same and they recognise you and are so friendly. Food is amazing, so fresh and tasty, the best Thai outside Thailand. And as for the prices, don't tell them but they are soooo cheap I'm always surprised that meal so good and tasty can be so cheap.

Wow. This is a truly remarkable little gem, and how glad am I to have found it.

Had noticed it once before, but it was shut as it was between lunch and dinner, however, I decided to go down there tonight, on my own.

And I was pleasantly surprised. The surroundings might not have been as fancy as some Thai restaurants (some friends/family were even having a birthday gathering) but still nice and it was a small, friendly place to be in.

Service was very swift, friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. Just perfect.

The starters arrived, and my hot&spicy soup was actually SPICY! Fab.

As I requested my mains of a Green Curry, I asked for it extra extra spicy as I just love the taste. And when it came out, it was just that. Evidently freshly cooked, generous portions, and the taste was AMAZING! I always order an extra extra spicy one and compare it with others, and this one was definitely right up there!

All in all, this was a delightful, friendly place, one I'd definitely recommend to all my friends, and where you could have a relaxed gathering of mates or whatever the occasion!

The food was perfect, VERY tasty, and amazingly good value for money with generous portions and quality for which some fancier restaurants wouldn't hesitate to charge 2-3 times more!

HIGHLY recommended.

Have eaten here so many times, its just like being back in Thailand the food is so good just close your eyes and dream of the land of the smile.
