Just got back to the office with my takeaway pasta and garlic bread only to find no garlic bread in the bag. Called the 020 7329 5729 for Ludgate Hill. Doesn't work. Tried the website and get this error on all pages "Cannot open database "FreshItaly" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'FreshItaly'." - Brilliant. No time now so I guess I'll have to go back on Monday.

Spicy arrabiata is very nice but "massimo" portion is way too small. They should do a £5 super-massimo size. I could eat two massimos, or maybe one and some garlic bread, ah, maybe not.

This place used to be pretty good, when they were new and trying to get established in the competetive lunch market. Now that they've been around a while, the food containers have suddenly changed from a generously sized cup, to a range of minature origami boxes that would look more at home carrying dim sum. What's more, the food quality has gone downhill - just opened my hot chilli beef to find about a tablespoon sized globule of sauce, and it's not spicy either...grr.

Meanwhile, the prices are still pretty steep for what amounts to pasta (cheap as you like) with some basic sauce slopped on the top - disappointing really. My assumption is that the positive comments come from employees of the place or, more likely, its management.

Enjoy.

I used to be a regular customer at the Fresh&Italy (King William St), the food used to be good, fresh and worth the value in the city.

However one day when I bought a take away chicken arabiatta, I was very disappointed with the quality and the portion of food served in their little take away cup. It was only half fulf, the penne was too soft and there were hardly one piece of chicken!!!!!!

Unfortunately I only found out the poor quality of the food when I opened it at my workdesk at Liverpool street, it was too far and have no time to walk back to the shop which was so disgusting that I have to chuck it in the bin and starve for the whole day.

Very dissappointed regular customer.

Value for money? Probably the most expensive pasta bar in town considering the size of the portions. Very Very small portions, when you order the "large". Interesting to see what the small portion is like........
