VERY rude man at the till, no manners what-so-ever, talks to customers like if he was in the army. They should employ people with proper communication skills. Shame, because the food is good and the location of the cafe is superb.

Over priced food and such a rude person at the till. Would not come back again! There really is no excuse for people to behave in such a way.

This cafe does no do justice to the superb park in which it sits. Of course it has a captive clientele but it really is like something out of the 1970s, the staff are unwelcoming and they have a very unimaginative menu. Other park cafes are of much more modern and higher standard. Considering that there is a wonderful adventure playground and delightful small zoo, Butterfly House and much else, for a cafe to be so against children including not allowing a breast-feeding Mum to sit in the front of the cafe despite the fact she was wearing a baby-shield and there were only four other people in the cafe - outrageous. Over the last few years I have tried not to use this place because of the unfriendliness and now I certainly will not go there again. Let's start another child-friendly cafe nearby!!

A Grandma who has taken generations of children to this park.

A great place. New revised menu (after customer questionaire) and enlarged kids menus. Teas is £1.40 a mug so not the cheapest but food quality is good with lots of homemade items and meals. Large South facing terrace and inside seating. for everyone except pushchairs it seems!. A good buzz here. Open all year and till late in the Summer nights.. Golders Hil Park is large with animals, birds, and a great kids playground. Easy bus transport on North End rd. Golders Green Tube nearby... take bus up the hill..Do try to get to the Pergola... but not with a buggy. See also Avenue House.
