I have eaten there on various occasions and I've found that the pasta they serve there is usually cold every time it's no good complaining about it to the staff working there as they could'nt care less their attitude is "eat it or leave it"

I ate there today and the food was lovely. They have a very tempting menu which seems to have all the kinds of things that you might want to eat after a walk in the park. It was great to be able to enjoy huge slices of fresh melon in the summer sunshine. They also had delicious-looking cakes. We had spag bog and salad followed by the melon...yum! Unfortunately it was very busy and the service was very very slow (did not quite understand what the hold up was as took two secs to serve me). However, the waiter was very nice and friendly. We also had a delicious ice cream cone from the separate ice cream kiosk. It certainly made my trip to this fantastic gem of a park a great deal more enjoyable.

They were the most family unfriendly eating establishment I have ever encountered. I was there yesterday (23/7/2006) with my daughter (10 months) and my grandparents (both 84 years) trying to enjoy ourselves. We bought some food and were sat under an umbrella. As soon as it started to rain lightly a waiter reached over me and yanked out the parasol. We decided to move indoors and were confronted by the most unpleasant Brazilian woman I have ever met who told me in no uncertain terms that we were not allowed inside with our daughter who was in a buggy. I had a look inside and saw many empty tables and two buggies inside. When asked why were not allowed inside with the buggy I was told by this waitress "I'm the manager and I say so!"

I lost my temper and said that I hoped when she has a baby that she encounters people as helpful as her she asked me to leave. I refused as my grandparents were inside waiting for myself, my husband and daughter to join them. After some more verbal abuse from this nasty waitress I left. Unfortunately we left a Tupperware tub containing food for my daughter on the table. When my husband went back to retrieve it and asking the waitress where it was, she feigned ignorance and said she'd look out back but that the table had been cleared. When she did not return my husband looked inside the bin and saw the container. He called the waitress and asked for the real manager. When he came over he was apologetic, but by this time our day had been ruined by the waitress who thinks she's god! I would advise anyone with children NEVER to go there if there is the slightest chance of rain, as you'll be asked to leave with your buggy and child.
