All Bar One (Henrietta St)

Hungover to the back teeth, my friend and I had lunch here on Bank Holiday Monday. It wasn't too busy and as soon as we sat down, a waitress appeared and gave us food menus and took our drink order.

I have to say, this is the best service I have EVER had in a pub. My friend had cut her leg so the waitress went off to find a plaster and nothing felt too much trouble for her!

We ate halloumi and aubergine burgers, which were good - better than the standard mushy vege burger most pubs serve. The meal was huge and was good value for money (£7.50). Don't get me wrong, if you are just expecting pub food you won't be disappointed but by no means is this 5-star cuisine.

All in all, an enjoyable afternoon!
