I dined at this restaurant with a group of 40 or so people, some in wheelchairs. The restaurant had ASSURED us that there was wheelchair access when the booking was made, perhaps they misunderstood access considering the 3 steps into the main area of the restaurant, and single step onto a larger outdoor area.

Perhaps they were desperate enough to take the money for a large booking, knowing that half the members of the meal would have trouble accessing. One member in a electric wheelchair had to leave without eating.

It would certainly NOT be a problem to have a temp ramp to get out for wheelchair users, and the fact that they DO have a disabled toilet is rather ironic.

The food, we were given a set choice menu some starter and main, no one seemed to get a glimpse of a full menu if there was one.

I went for the goats cheese, on bruchetta (is that Moroccan?) a dish that can be found in many eateries around London, followed by a chicken dish served with potatoes and chutney. More of a mod cuisine than Morrocan perhaps?

The food was tasty enough, but for the price I could have found the same or similar dish at many other places.

We certainly didn't pay the 'suggested' 12.5 percent service charge (added to your final bill) Some friends had to wait over half an hour to be served. If you know you have a large booking, surely you add a few staff??

I'd recommend Bouga in Crouch End, for an accessible Morrocan experience.

I went here on a Friday night, and I have to say, for the most part, I was very impressed.

The waiting staff were very friendly and chatty, the atmosphere was fantastic and the food was to die for. Portions might have been a bit on the grand side, but hey, better to be full-to-bursting than still a bit hungry.

One minor complaint - the service was a little slow at times. And they stop serving shisha at 11pm! Outrageous!

But all in all, a very enjoyable evening.

I simply love this place. You forget you're in the middle of London, it feels like Marrakesh. Great atmosphere, the food never disappoints and the staff is extremely friendly.
