I have been to this restaurant about 8 times now and thought it was time for me to share it. I really LOVE this place, hidden in the middle of the bad restaurants of Shepherds Bush road, all serving bad greasy tasteless food !

I have taken all my family/friends visiting London here and they all loved it too ! Plus, you never need to book, it's big and they always have place (from my experience anyway, I only go on Fridays or Saturdays around 8pm or 9pm). It's quite quiet as well, so a good place to take family and friends I think !

The staff members are always very friendly, althought sometimes a bit hard to understand for a non native speaker!

Try the papadum as a start and enjoy the different sauces/spices to put on top of it ! My favourite is the red/orange spicy one and the yogurt one, lovely !

The food is really nice and a very good value as well. The meals are quite big, I can never eat one by myself and we usually share 2 meals with 2 naan and 1 rice for 3 persons, which is enough for us. For starters I have tried the chicken tikka and the tandoori and they were both great ! For meals I can only suggest to try different ones as they are all so nice ! I really like the chicken tikka masala, the lamb madras and the prawn korma. And when they say prawn, they mean prawn, you can find many in your plate ! Even for people who don't like spicy food, they are load of options ! The same for vegetarians !

The red wine is very nice (medoc and st emilion). I have never tried the white but will do next time !

I am now looking forward to my next visit next month to try some new meals especially the side dishes/vegetables !

Just go and give it a try, you will love it.

Only bad thing: Not much to do around this area really if you want to have a nice drink first, you have to walk a little bit either to Hammersmith (the swan has a good selection of ales and lagers!) or Barnes bridge along the river (always very busy though!) or to Shepherds Bush Green (try Vesbar, the cocktails are nice!)
