I have lived in Wimbledon for 6 years and only ever been to Reds 3 times, and there's a reason for that. The service is really really SLOW. The last time I was there was August 2011 and nothing had changed from the previous times. I have always had to wait 45-60 mins for my food to turn up.

The food is nice but nothing special and certainly doesn't merit the hour wait when you can go next door to GBK for a burger or across the road to Nandos for some grilled chicken and will be served within 10 minutes.

If this restaurant wants to survive in this saturated market it needs to do something different. Either bring you some complimentary olives while you wait, hire more staff or change the menu completely. It would be a shame to see this restaurant close down but it needs to change or it will not survive. I certainly won't be going back any time soon.

Reds is a sort of diner. It has a relaxing vibe and plays good music - but unexpected - relaxing blues and show tunes, Cole Porter all sorts - it works though.

I really love the food here it is grilled and it is like going to a barbeque (but the food is actually cooked). Very good vegetarian food too like a grilled aubergine dish that my wife really enjoyed.

Great choice of burgers and I like the spicy chips. It has been repainted so that is good too. Top Tip it is opposite the Theatre so you could see a show and then eat at Reds - that is a good night out :D

I have been to Reds a lot and have found it to be a great place to eat. I guess it must have changed since 2008 (it is May 2011 now!)

The food is very good with a special mention for their vegetarian dishes - my wife LOVES the baked aubergine. I am a man and therefore like the meat dishes.

Good atmosphere, good service - does not merit bad scores (now at any rate)
