Toffs

i was trained as a silver service waitress, we where taught to smile, give good service, make the customer feel they are special, make conversation, and when a client is alone make them feel they are not on there own, well all of these things above, are all part of Toffs, but most important the food is out of this world, and the prices are not only for the rich but for the every day person in the street, there kindness also extends to the homeless with a freebie bag of chips.i eat 3/4 times aweek at Toffs.

I spent 2 weeks in Muswell Hill on vacation from Los Angeles. I had the fried plaice and chips twice. Unbelievably

delicious. Wish I had tried the grilled

offerings.

Really nice fish restaurant in North London. Portions were huge, really nice coleslaw and the refillable chips bowl was a great idea. Really friendly staff.

You’ve heard of Seashell, Zilli Fish and Rick Steins, well this little local gem puts them all in the shade when it comes to simple fish and chips. Always busy but always happy to serve with a smile. Fridays can get very busy with the takeaway part of the restaurant queuing well out the door, but get a seat and you’ll be a very happy and satisfied eater. Recommended!

Simply the best fish n chips in London. You absolutely must try the grilled halibut with olive oil and garlic - mmmm mmmmmm!
