Stef's Italian

This is the second time I've been. Both times I have been blown away. I took my fiancee to Stefs for a pre-theatre meal. The location is ideal for the Shaftesbury and Dominion Theatres and Oxford Street.

The appearance of the restaurant was fabulous. Decor very modern. Staff were attentive to detail and very pleasant but not "in your face."

The food was exquisite, both myself and partner loved it. The Piccante pizza comes well recommended. Well done to all the team at Stefs, please keep up the great work.

The overall meal price for a well located London restaurant was very good. I would highly recommend anybody to go and try this restaurant now!

Went to Stefs last night with my family and had a lovely evening the food was

wonderful nothing was too much trouble everything was perfect, I would highly

recommend this restaurant to anyone thankyou Stef for a lovely meal and evening.

I had lunch with a colleague at Stef's in June 2012 and I must say it was a delight!

It's immediately obvious who Stef is as he acts as maitre d' proprietor. Why can't more places do this? We were made to feel welcome immediately and offered a choice of table.

My bresaola was light yet unctuous and fresh as a daily. Very impressive as it's easy to get even this simple dish wrong. My petto di pollo was great. Tender chicken and a rich, rustic sauce. The specialities on the menu are intriguing and are enough, along with the hospitality, to ensure repeat business.

The primitivo didn't match my main terribly well but was a very good wine nonetheless.

It's hard to find a good value eaterie off Oxford Street but Stef's is where my search ends. I'll be back again!

My friend and I visited this restaurant on a mid-week evening whilst in London for a conference. In an area whiich is bereft of decent places to eat, Stef's provided an uneXpectedly delIghtful oasis of excellent food and drink,. The owner, Stef, dealt with us himself after the meal, providing a personal touch to the whole evening.

Prices are extremely reasonable for what is, in effect, Italian 'fine dining'.

We will definitely return. A must for anyone in this area off Oxford Street!

was there last night 26-06-2012, and i really enjoy my risotto ai fungi and my partner a delicious pizza..very nice elegant but friendly atmosphere . The staff is very friendly and to end up nicely is also very value for money...I go again next time i am in town..well done...

The wife and i were in London for a show and once again we went into Stef's ..... a real pleasure. It's nice to try new places but with Stef's we know we are going to get quality food right on Oxford street yards from the circus. The open ravioli was freshly made and cooked perfectly. We couldnt fault it at all once again!!

You really can't fault Stef's for a friendly local Italian restaurant experience right in the heart of Soho. The staff are so friendly, the food's good and it's not overly expensive. My 13-year old prefers the pizzas to pizza express (a big accolade, believe me), and - as a vegetarian - I am well catered for.

A favourite restaurant in Central London.

Excellent italian food (even Italian friends visiting have praised it!) served with a warm welcome by Stef and his staff.

Great value for money too.

I went back to Stef's the other day and, as usually, I was welcomed very well! Stef is always so kind and hospitable and the staff nice and efficient . The risotto I had was heavenly tasty!
