Stef's

We ate here on Friday 29th January. From the moment we walked in the restaurant to the moment we walked out everything was perfect. Perfect service, atmosphere and of course the food!

ALL the staff were so friendly and it made the start of our weekend great fun, particular mention to Elio and Stefano!

have been to stefs previously and had to go again to see if it lived up to the same expectations as before, and i have to say it did. again the food was absolutely wonderful and stef again was attentive to all our needs the services was excellent , the atmosphere is just right for every occasion, previously i went with some girlfriends on a girls night out, this time i went for a family meal and i must say both occasions were just perfect.

have read the previous reviews and i find it very very hard to believe that we are talking about the same restaurant, would highly recommend stef's to everyone, and i for one will definatly be going back again and recommending it to all my family and friends.

Just off Oxford Street, so very easy to miss but this is one restaurant that you don't want to miss!!! A friendly and welcoming environment with great service and even better food! I would highly recommend Stef's ;o)

I am Italian and went with my girlfriend, the atmosphere is not really home-like but still very enjoyable also for a couple. We took two different salads as starters and they were just good. As main we both took a steak with peppercorn sauce and it was pretty average, I really have tasted better steaks, although it was well cooked and the sauce was tasty. As dessert I took a chocolate cake and that one was really good, I strongly recommend it, my girlfriend took a creme caramel and she liked it. The red wine I chose to drink was pretty good and both of us really liked it. I liked the service, friendly and present always at the right moment. Overall an average italian meal, the food was nothing particular but good, and in my opinion this place is overrated. I found the value for money not at all as good as many say, paid 83£ in two without service.

To say this place is anything more than average would be a gross misrepresentation ...it's just ok. The waiters look like they are doing you a BIG favour whenever you ask them for anything.

It'll fill a hole but if you rarely eat out and want to make it an ocassion give this place a miss.

Last weekend we had the pleasure of dining at Stef's with Worz and his wife. The service was outstanding! The attention we received from Stef personally was second to none, the food was delicious and the wine complimented the meal superbly. The music softly playing in the background truly set the ambience to the evening and in the end it was difficult to leave. Would highly recommend Stef's to anyone and look forward to returning.

Wow, what a convivial evening. Went to Stef's for dinner with some friends. The service (by Stef himself) was very attentive but there was never a feeling of being rushed. The food was excellent, especially the sea bass special and great value for money considering the location. Wine was good also and we will definately be coming back for more; have happily recommended to a friend who is visiting this weekend.

We booked ahead on a Saturday night but after arriving early were accommodated with no problem. The mains and starters were reasonably priced and generous in portion size, however the prices of the anti pasti course put us off trying any. Our food was very tasty and fresh, service was quick and pleasant and we'd recommend this as a good italian.

We were a party of 21 on the 18th December. The service was excellent, very friendly staff and accommodating even though the restaurant was full. The atmosphere was great and impressed that Stef went out of his way to introduce him self when we arrived and was keen to make sure we were happy with everything. We ordered various main course and sweets and everyone in the party passed coment on how nice the food was from the pizzas to the fish, from the pasta to the steaks! We will definetly return . Thankyou!!

Went here on a business evening with 3 workmates.

Wanted someting easy with atmosphere and this was top notch. Food was good and the portions were fine. Quick service and Stef is a great character.

Can't really find anything to moan about.! Always a good sign when I save a number into my phone for next time I am in the area.

All good, you won't be dissapointed..
