This is the best chinese restaurant in china town that I've ever been. Excellent service, good quality wines with excellent value. Dim sum and dinner can't get better else where. All my families and friends just keep going back.

Highly recommended. Keep it up Laureate.

Enjoyed a pre theatre dinner the service was quick and efficient even though the restaurant was crowded. I enjoyed a delicious won ton soup and perfect vegetable spring rolls. Will go back again.

well having just read a bad review of laureate wanted to add my own review..visited with a friend about 2 months ago and must say its my 2nd favourite chinese restaurant to date...the food was lovely, service excellent and overall was lovely evening.... found it to be welcoming and though very busy the food was fresh , hot and didnt take too long to arrive...i'd give it 10/10 - veggie spring rolls were yummy

Hi, I went to this restauratn with a friend about one month ago and honestly was a terrible experience...For this reason it's difficult for me to understand all these positive reviews about this chinese restaurant.

I have to tell you that tha atmosphere and the place were very nice but the food was very poor and of very low quality.

We ordered a menu with spring rolls as starters, then duck and as main courses one plate with chicken and another with beef...I can tell that as soon we tried the first one we had a very bad impression, I think that the food wasn't fresh for this reason I sopke with the manager but this one instead od speak with me and try to understand my reasons told me that for him the food was great...Is this customer service?...I dont' think so...for me the most important thing is the guest...Other to this I had some difficulties with the bill because he didn't want make us a very big discount as we asked...he wanted that we pay the whole price...but after a discussion of half an hour we reached to pay half dinner also if we didn't eat almost nothing...Do you think that this is correct?...For me no and for all these reasons I suggest to people to go have dinner in other restaurants where guests are considerated.

Started the new year with a visit to our favourite Chinese Dim Sum restaurant and once again we were delighted with the piping hot, fresh, tasty Dim Sum served. The skill of the Dim Sum chefs at Laureate deserves their recognition. It is not easy to ensure that the dim sum pastry are thin but unbroken, the shell is cooked but the stuffing not overdone. Well done Laureate, keep up the good Dim Sum standard.

Always go to China Town for dinner prior to a Musical, which is generally every month. Decided on a change of eatery, and come across this eatery, it looked modern, bright and welcoming from the outside. Once in, got a warm personal welcome. The staff give you 100% attention, friendly and helpful. Food is the BEST I have ever had, it leaves the flavours in your mouth for hours, and is exeptional value, with set meals from £9. Have sent friends there, who all agree with my comments, and myself been over 6 times, and will comtinue to do so in the future. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, ESPECIALLY FOR WEST END THEATRE.

I booked a karaoke room and dinner for a friday night. When I rang to confirm later on in the week, they said they had only booked me for dinner. Ruined my birthday plans. Idiots.

Great family orientated restaurant right on Shaftsbury Avenue. The Dim Sum was excellent and a good variety too. The service was great, lots of attention and smiles from all the staff.

Very pleased at the quality of the food. The Dim Sum is great and the late menu is also wonderful. I spent 10 yrs in Hong Kong and China and I have to say this place is much better than the other fare on offer in China Town.
