We came across Sapore with the Times offer. The reviews are positive so we booked a table last night. As I am italian, I can figure out what is good and what's not. We had Bresaola which was served properly with roquette, olive oil, parmesan shaving and lemon. The portion was huge, but the taste average. The bresaola was dry, and the parmesan had been shaved years ago, it felt like plastic. One in our party chose Funghi trifolati as a starter and that was good. As mains we had two risotti with mushrooms and again, the serving was massive but pretty lacking in taste. Very average. We left without having any coffees or desserts, we really wanted to get out of there!

We were recently in Chelsea, wandering King's Road late at night, looking for something good to eat. We were immediately attracted by this friendly, streetside restaurant. It was past serving time for regular items, so we had a veggie pizza, which was excellent. With a full bottle of wine, a terrace view, and a candle, our night was saved, and it came through at under 20 pounds.
