If you are not part of the Chelsea or Fulham village then don't eat here.

My partner and I had a meal at this restaurant last night. Our host was pushy. He "suggested" a dish off the specials board - Dover Sole, if you want to know.

My partner, who being Spanish eats a lot of fish, said it was under cooked in the middle. The real shock came at the end of the meal. We had chosen the venue for it's reasonable priced dishes, that why we went. It was a fun occasion, just the two of us for dinner. But our host had picked the most expensive dish! Cheap trick! Frankly we felt used.

There were two shocks on the bill, firstly having ordered food and wine we discover that we were unable to pay by card! Remember I mentioned the Chelsea village? Well this restaurant is not an adopter of new technology!

So no card payments, it's over to cash, but how much do we have? Is it enough? At this point we asked for an explanation, he said that "no one else complains" and that was about it.

I would have rather burned my cash that hand it over to this self centred man.
