Great atmosphere, brilliant food and wine, and the staff are friendly. You really do get that feeling of family fun from the staff. A real Italian wouldn't complain of it,
It's nothing posh to look at like Ferrari's, no fancy lighting or glass front. But I've not seen any 3 courses for £15 or less here, as there isn't a need, word of mouth and good food is all you need. Real food, for real people and you can eat a good price too.
A little bit of Italy, in Balham, brilliant.

I have been to Ciullo's....3 times, first time we just stumbeled across it and it had a table available for 6 so in we went. I can't remember what I ate but I know there was somethign there for everyone. I like fish, my man can't seem to go without lamb chops. The second time was just two of us, I was trying to be dainty and went with prawn entree, not the best choice, Neil pasta wiht monkfish was good and hte pizza next to us looks great! 3rd time I had seabass and love it. The resturant has ok decor but the serivce is great, so attentive keen to make sure you enjoy your not. The house white is also good for value. Enjoy.

A fantastic and intimate little restaurant hidden away between Balham and Clapham South tube stations. I've been here many times over the past few years and am always impressed by the quality of food, speed of service and excellent value for money. The banter and professionalism of all members of staff is also a pleasure to experience. Highly recommended.....

I have heard good reviews of this place since it opened, but only recently managed to visit. I was part of a large party (over 15 of us) and both service and food was excellent. I would agree on previous comments regarding the easily drinkable house red and also that the value and atmosphere were top notch.

Having tried Ciullo's when it first opened a few years ago, my husband and I have never gone more than 2 weeks without a visit.....the staff are friendly, even when rushed off their feet and the food is just as you'd expect mama to make, and always plentiful. If I were to find a fault, the only thing I would say is that the music is a little cheesy and the tiramisu can be a bit hit and miss.....having recently moved out of the area, we are gutted to be more than a stroll away, but will be making a conserted effort to remain regular customers.

We go regulalry and find everytime that the food is fantastic, the service is both friendly and prompt. We love it and have never been disappointed! We feel lucky to have this place nearby but would recommend anyone to make the journey there for great food and atmosphere.

Wonderful find: fantastic food, reasonable prices, and finally (for the area) a decent house red (nothing amazing but what a social lubricant). On the evidence of 3 visits, the staff are not much short of perfect.
NB This is also the man who started the brilliant but now sadly over-priced Numero Uno on Northcote Road, so there is a fine pedigree here.
