Greek Affair

My husband and I visited this little restaurant yesterday while looking for somewhere to eat before heading off to The Gate cinema. We were impressed by the wide range of vegetarian items on the menu, I would say the majority of it had V symbol. The only thing to watch out for is that this restaurant considers fish as vegetarian! Also note, they don't have a license to sell alcohol so bring your own. We decided to go for the grand mezze at £15.50 and we were not dissapointed! I told the waiter we were lacto/ovo veggies and she said this was not a problem. We had loads of delicious hot and cold starters with greek bread. We thought this was going to be all of the food but no, we still had our main course to come! We were so stuffed with nice food that our bellies hurt.
And at only £15.50 - what value!
If you like good Greek food and are in Notting Hill area, go here! It's cute, waiters are very friendly and the food is delicious and authentic.

I when a week ago and the it was great! being greek aswell it was nice to find a place that serves quality greek food that is not "toned down" and Greek not cypriot-turkish.
The atmosphere was great and the food was realy good,
the taramosalata and humus where one of the best i have had (par homemade).
the spinich pie was not that good (prefer it to have many layers of filo with layers of spinich in between).
We ordered the fish plaki in the oven and the lemon chicken which were good, and the lamb which looked realy nice.
I do recomend this restaurant to get a good authentic taste of greek cuisine!
