I've dined at eatons restuarant and the atmosphere was calming the food was delicious the manager was so lovely will definately be dining or having take aaway again.

Our family group went to Eatons a few weekends ago we have been before and we have always had a nice time. The food was tasty and fresh and they seemed to have everything on the menu, The service was good and very prompt.

I have been to many other caribbean resturants and personally I do prefer The Mango Rooms and Cottons purly because the venues have more of a vibe to them for a night out and the food is more elebrate but Eatons is still nice if your eating out locally.

I would just point out that it would be nice if they could dim the lights a bit in there it is very bright and clinical but on the whole I would go again

I have been to Eatons a few times, each time I received excellent service and good food. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Overall good value for money, in my opinion... I will definitely return again!

Not that great I'm affriad. At least you get service with a smile. Calibash in Ilford town center they are plain rude, same with stratford.

Samll portions, big prices. Got a take away for 2 with a couple of the (amazing) Carib Beer. came to over £30. The rice and Pea was dry, the chicken was dry. Both had Nice flavors but lacked any freshness.

They have a great selection of dishes so maybe I was there on a bad day?

The manager is a nice guy and it makes all the difference. Will go back for a sit down meal but not for a while.

Tricia, (reply to your review), I am not saying that Eatons is a bad restaurant. I have been there a few times and have had no complaints. I even had my Mum's 50 B'day dinner there last year but I was just disappointed on Mother's Day. (And I do not see how my comments have surprised you; obviously you did not go there on Mother's Day!!)

I have eaten at the restaurant a few times, and always had good service and can handle looking after groups of people.

Good food, definately recommended!

May 06 - my brother and I went to the restaurant not long after they opened for business at 6pm. There were no other customers which was to be expected and I was looking forward to enjoying my food after having planned to go there for some time. The first course I ordered was not available so I chose the BBQ chicken wings which were awful. My brother had the curry chicken roti which was nice but not heated properly.

Next I asked for fish and that was not available so I had some stew beef which wasn't that nice either. My brother had the curry chicken, a little better but both dishes were not heated properly. Also, they didn't have any marcaroni cheese.

Definitely not my night and made all the more worse because it was my birthday and my brother would not let me complain about the food (unfortunately), I paid £45 for food I really didn't enjoy!

For the past two years, I have had the pleasure of visiting Eatons restaurant on a number of occasions. It's charming Manager, fine food, live music (varied and not too loud), and helpful staff are the perfect ingredients for a good nite out. The atmosphere is always lively and friendly and I will continue to be a regular visitor. I read with surprise the comments made by Ms P (03.05.06) and I would respond by saying ....be your own judge and try it out.

I have been to Eatons a few times and I have to say that I do like the place. The food is good and the Manager is charming. But I was disappointed on Mother's Day. People who turned up at the restaurant will know what I am talking about.
