I tried Deliverance for the first time last week and was very disappointed. The food itself was ok, however the portions were very small for the price we paid.

I followed this up to complain and I was referred to a call centre and told there was nothing they could do. No refund, no vouchers. Just a half hearted apology.

Deliverance? Non-deliverance more like. Poor service and value for money.

An amazing concept! Mix and match from a multi-cuisine selection menu for delivery at a time to suit you. Fantastic variety. Wonderful Crispy Duck! Nice to have plenty of cucumber, spring onion and sauce to go with it - and plenty of pancakes too! Really delicious! Nice choice of small-producer ice-cream - I chose the salted-caramel. Great Cob Special salad. Delivery was on time - very impressive! Thank you!

I recently placed an enormous order for a Hen party, including the indian, chinese and thai set meals. The call centre staff were very helpful, the food arrived within an hour of placing the call, and all the food was hot, delicious and perfectly cooked. The driver even helped us to carry the dinner up two flights of stairs! We had good feedback from all 25 hungry women - meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans like. I would highly recommend Deliverance for excellent quality take away food, I have had lovely dinner when ordering just for me, and for a large group. And I can confirm that the leftovers are still yummy the next day!

We have had several bad takeaway currys recently and are still searching for a half decent one. We thought we would try Deliverance, probably due to the flashy brochure and website.

The curry was reasonably expensive (around £30 for 2 people, would have been £8 cheaper elsewhere) and fairly poor.

The online order also went wrong, cancelling half the items. I then had to call up & amend the order, giving card details again for the cancelled items.

Chicken Jalfrazei was watery & very average. Chicken Korma was quite tasty, though both looked like microwave currys. We had to warm them up as they were luke warm. Spinach veg side dish was average. £2 for a small box of mini poppadums is a rip off, with no salad or chutneys thrown in, as a normal indian takeaway would.

Delivery was prompt within 45mins. Slightly surprised by the automatic 'gratuity' they try to add on to your bill before paying.

We wont both again, and I am deleting my login with them.

Deliverance has really gone down hill. The last few orders I have placed with them have been very cold. I've written to them twice about this but I don't get a response. I don't want to call their call centre - they have an 0844 premium rate number. Also, this evening I ordered a burger for a specific time: it arrived 1/2 hour early and when I queried this with the delivery guy I got a very surly response - "So are you saying I'm late then?"

I've given up on them. The food is fine, but expensive and cold.

DO NOT USE DELIVERANCE!! Very very bad service - incompetant staff and very pricey consdiered the food really isn't very good.

I tried to place an order on Friday for a lunch on Monday and I then spend all of Monday morning on the phone trying to sort the order out. The order turned up nearly an hour late and I'm still waiting for a apology!

Deliverance.co.uk is definitely the 'take-away' business of choice. 6 of us order in the other night and we ALL loved our respective meals. The cuisine choices are endless, the food tasty and affordable and the service was great. Our food arrived earlier than expected, the staff were helpful and friendly and the packaging was quality. Deliverance will be my first call for my next night in.
