Persuaded by a friend to give Deliverance a try again (I used to use it a lot but became disappointed with time for delivery and some of the food) I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. There were some new additions to the menu that I was really pleased with - I love Mexican food and Deliverance did a good job at it (although make sure you order the salsa and guacamole to go with the mains). Curries and salads were also really tasty. All arrived warm and with friendly service. I'll definitely go back to being a regular user.

Delicious mouth watering collection of delights! I've ordered from here on three occasions, each has been as scrumptious as the last. My only criticism is the web site can be slightly off putting as the password the originally give you isn't memorable and on forgetting it I requested a new one which took them TWO WEEKS to send me, by that point I wasn't looking to order! However I cannot fault their service, even stretching to ordering me a bottle of wine and a packet of cigarettes at quarter to one in the morning after a night out!

Although some prices do appear slightly steep, for a restaurant in London they are very reasonable. Overall though a sumptuous treat for all and a fantastic solution to differing tastes!

I had Deliverance last night and was very pleasantly surprised by both the food - good sized portions and extremely tasty - and by the efficiency of the service. It was actually a big improvement on when I ordered it a few months back and they have introduced a load of new dishes to their menu. Unfortunately we couldn't sample all of them, but I can highly recommend their new cheese and bacon burger!

The food really was excellent the first couple of times, (a fair while ago now), last time I used them the food was one hour late (two hours in total) and cold. Calls to enquire where it was were met with unfulfilled promises to call me back. No one bothered to respond to my complaints.

My boss ordered for us all (14) on Tuesday evening, the menu looked impressive with a great choice, so our expectations were already high.

The food arrived on time and all I can say is it was terrific, I had Chilli Con Carne & Rice and it was great!

I have read the reviews below and can't comprehend how we appear to be eating from the same company. I would recommend them to anyone wanting good food delivered over the local Chinese or Indian.

Do not be fooled by the great website design and ridiculous prices! This food is not good at all! Its all pre packed and then microwaved before its sent to you. I just ordered the burger and chips - the burger bun was rock solid, not crusty - STALE, and the chips were oven cooked and limp. My girlf got the Chicken Jalfrezi - £9 it was and it was made with Chicken leg!!! Brown meat!! Now I'm no racist, but I expect white chicken breast for that price... unbelievable. Please do not make the mistake I made and order this low grade food for 3x the normal price. You have been warned!!

Hilariously expensive for what you get. Although I’m a big believer in second chances, like Austin, I’m amazed that every time I order they seem to get worse and that I’ve actually ordered it again. Portion sizes are tiny; food is microwaved, generally tepid and not very tasty or well presented. Last time I complained they offered to add a box of truffles to my next order, which (surprise!) never materialised. Even with the huge discount they gave me, it still wasn’t worth is. The only really good thing to say is at least it arrives on time.

Service good. Call centre and internet ordering good, delivery time good.

But it's about the food! Tonight I ordered Thai;

Soggy Chicken Pad Thai - Terrible! - Some sort of red tomato sauce was mixed in?? Tad Thai should be dry and light which if it was cooked fresh it might be. Deliverance must spoon out of an aging soggy vat.

Matsaman Chicken Curry - Very average bland offering.

Rice.

Essentialy it's just sealed microwave containers of bland food microwaved and sent to you. You could get frozen microwave meals with more freshness and taste.

Previously I have ordered their beef burger which was OK, nothing special very little salad and a chicken skewer starter which was bland and oily.

After that I ordered pizza this was OK about the quality of Pizza Express with a heavier base.

So now having given them three chances, each time with different dishes I will now no matter how tired or lazy I'm feeling after work make the effort to walk to the local Kebab shop, Thai, or just call in a typical east end Bangladeshi curry which will be more satisfying.

Each time I order Deliverance I am amazed:

1. they've somehow managed to sink lower than their previous offering,

2. that i've ordered it again.

All criticisms below are representative: greasy, cold, soggy, salty, oily trash served in plastic boxes.

Despite getting it all free through a work account, I wouldn't feed it to my dog.

I payed an overpriced 8 pounds for "CHILLI SHREDDED BEEF" that came in a microwave tray and looked and tasted like a frozen microwave dinner I could have gotten at even Marks for much less, and probably more tasty too! Half the tiny container was oil,the rest was chewy microwaved beef and a few soggy stringbeans. I feel completely ripped off!
