Disappointing. Food bog standard, dry chicken covered in sauce.
Service disappointing. Manager upstairs, needs training in customer service.
At end of meal, he came to table and asked: "Finished?" And cleared table without another word. Then nothing at all until a half-hearted "thank you" after he handed back my debit card.
It's also expensive for the food you get.
It's a shame because the setting downstairs is full of alcoves, almost like a wine cellar.
They also have no Indian competition in Greenwich town centre, so they seem s little smug, and indifferent.
There was definite frostiness when I ordered my drink, tap water with ice.
Really wish a decent Indian would open in Greenwich town centre, they would clean up.

I visited this restaurant last Friday; and I have to say that the food of Mogul tastes superb. Such fine dining and presentation, made me feel so royal and welcoming. Everything was up to a good standard. I must say the food was really delicious and it had a real taste of India.

I visited this restaurant around 2 years ago. The food was terrible and there was no sort of Indian authenticity in the dishes. Whereas, after visiting it again yesterday I found a huge improvement in the food as well as the service. There was a lot of tasty dishes, and I cannot emphasize enough about the personal service from the chef. The chef personally attended me and approached me for any help. I was very obliged by his humbleness. He seemed more concerned about the customer and the business. Thanks Once again for this royal treatment. I will be looking forward to visiting the restaurant soon.

This restaurant is truly situated in the heart of Greenwich and you know what they say a delicious meal fulfils you hearts' desire before it does your stomach's ; which is what exactly this restaurant has done.
I visited Mogul last year with my family and I was belittled by their customer service and the food taste. The customer service was terrible and there was no Indian taste into the food. HOWEVER, having, visited this restaurant recently, I have found a huge improvement in their food as well as the environment. The customer service was quick and I did had wait for 25 minutes like I did last time. It has changed a lot throughout the year and being Indian I could finally taste that Indian authenticity, which managed to captivate my taste buds.
In short, very good customer service, Superb dining and Excellent Indian Food and I can assure you that I would be visting here very soon.

Visited with my boyfriend and 2 year old but were very disappointed as they asked us to go downstairs as that was were the high chairs were but there was no one else there and it was very dingy and not very child friendly even though they have numerous high chairs. The food was ok and the staff did their best but all in all very disappointing considering they do add a service charge on to the bill,we won't be going back.

I live in Greenwich and have been to the Moghal a number of times. I actually recommended it to some-one the other day, who happened to say that they have a number of bad reviews which I was surprised about as I have always found it to be good in the past. Well I went in there this evening with my family and unfortunately I found all the reviews about the service to be completely true!! I found one waiter in particular to be EXTREMELY rude!! Which really does put a dampener on your meal. I can say that I will no longer be going to the Moghul until they have sorted out the service they provide. Yes the food is nice, but it is not overly cheap and therefore you do expect customer service. I actually hope the Moghal restaurant does read people's reviews and sort out their customer service fast!!

Me and my girlfriend went to this restaurant last saturday service was ok just not great ,for starters we had a prawn dish which was small but very nice and after your starters you normally like a little break but no soon as we had finished our main meal was put on our table.
the food was not as good as i had hoped, my girlfriends dish was like a microwave meal and the time it took to cook i had reason to believe it was, the service was quick but not for the right reason. we felt they just wanted to get rid of us. its the place to go if you are starving and everywhere else is closed.

I have to say - that was the worst Indian meal I have ever eaten. Avoid at all costs. Do not go here. Ever.

Quite simply, avoid this restaurant at all costs.
My wife and I went there on 26th June and were absolutely appalled at the 'service' we received. Rude does not even begin to describe it.
In summary they got two very simple orders wrong and when we very politely advised one water was brusque beyond belief. The waiter's tone of voice and body language was unbelievable.
The actual food was strictly average - you could probably pick it up in one of the major supermarkets.
I asked that the service part of the bill be taken off and when I spoke to one of the staff about his colleague's attitude I did not get an apology or any explanation.
Overall it spoiled a good day out.
