Perfect place for a group dinner. Went with a group of 5 girls, had amazing food, brilliant atmosphere and BYOB means no expensive drinks bill at the end. Highly recommend.

5 of us ate here - fantastic meal with both food and mint tea EXACTLY like the delights we had had in Morocco on holiday last year. BYOB makes for an excellent value meal too!

Six of us ate here last night and the place was full. There seemed to be a number of regulars which is always a good sign. The staff were very helpful and helped us order- we had a selection of starters (lovely houmous), lamb meshwi with a great couscous and a couple of Lamb Barbouk Tagines. We didn't need the Tagines but I'm glad we had them because they were sweet and delicious. I had just returned from Marrakech and it felt like I was back there again. Like most Morrocans, the owner does not drink or serve alcohol. We came prepared with a selection of bottles and the staff were great at looking after our drinks, bringing various glasses etc. We all left extremely full, slightly tipsy and very happy. Because it's a BYO this place works out to be very good value. I look forward to coming back soon!

Tagine combines brilliant slow cooked food, lovely service, beautiful settings and it's not expensive either. BYOB so remember to pop across to Sainsburys for a Rioja beforehand!

Love the houmous to start - the pitta is always fresh and hot.

Me and my wife have heard so many great things about Tagine so we booked for our anniversary. We had a really great evening; great service, delicious food and cosy surroundings. For a relaxed but special meal, we can't recommend Tagine enough. Felt like we were on holiday!

Worst meal I have had in a long time. Endless wait, overcooked food, uninterested staff. Shocking.

The best thing about this place is the lighting. I was really looking forward to having dinner at Tagine as I had read quite a few reviews which praised its food and service. I was extremely disappointed. The staff there were moody and blase, they looked like they wanted to be somewhere else, anywhere else. Having been to a few Moroccan restaurants in the past, I was expecting portion sizes to be on the generous side, how wrong was I?! My boyfriend and I ordered a starter to share (as in the past this has been ample) which was the trio of filo pastry. As the starter was £6.90 we expected that it would be enough. We couldn't have been more mistaken. It was tiny! There were 3 tiny sprng rolls which looked like they'd come from an Iceland frozen party pack. They were cold and tasteless and I was shocked that they had the audacity to charge almost £7 for them! None of the main courses come with any sides, not even cous cous, which is extremely bizarre, so despite the fact main courses were averaging £12, you had to order cous cous or bread separately. We ordered a side of boiled, plain cous cous (£3) which again was far too small. Both main courses were also on the stingy side and were extremely bland. I have had better ready meals in Tesco. Without exaggeration, this is the worst meal I have eaten in a restaurant in a number of years, and I really could not have been more disappointed. I will never come here again. If you like bland, over priced food and miserable service, this is the place for you!

A friend and I were looking forward to a nice meal out and came across Tangine! We arrived at 4.45pm and were told they do not open till 5pm. We decided to wait 15mins as the menu looked delicious! As we waited outside, we were approached by a member of staff and were shouted at for asking if the restaurant was halaal. It came as quite a shock as it was a very simple question and asked in a polite manner. The staff member went on to shout 'I understand english very well but its not my problem if you don't' and told us that he had already told us they aren't open until 5pm. We weren't trying to get in, we were just waiting for 5pm! He was extremely rude. After this, we decided to take our money elsewhere as that was not the kind of service any good restaurant would offer!

I can't comment on the food but the service = RUBBISH.

I have never been to Morroco, but one can arguee that I go there every week, because visiting Tagines is like a journey into Marakesh. The decore is very authentic and the staff are all very friendly making you feel welcomeand at ease.

It is obvious that the chiefs take there job seriously because the quality of the food never slips. Lambs that melt in your mouth, a great sellection of starters and deserts. But my favorite thing is the price. to eat like a king you would expect to be as rich as one.No on avaerage I spend £20 a head and leave stuffed. The fact that you can bring your own acoholic beverage also makes a real difference.

If you live in the area, or even if you dont, you must try this amazing resturant. It is also higly recomended for bithdays where your birthday cake will be brought out in style.
